I had a fabulous time in Sally’s class. We learnt some skills and tips for mixing colours and working out proportions of objects. It was a rewarding day.

Jodie is very passionate about what she does. She is patient and great at explaining thing for beginners. She also was very organised and brought all the tools needed for the class. The class was fun and I picked up some cool hairstyles I can do at home.

Really good course. Now everything make sense when I sew and I feel enough confident to do it alone:) very good value for money. I recommend

Attended a 5-week music production which was excellent. The admin behind the scenes was just as efficient and effective.

I just did the Learn to Cook Indian Cuisine Course at Sydney Community College with Bhavna. Shivalker. This was easily the best cooking course I have done. Bhavna was just the most amazing, engaging, knowledgeable teacher. She really ‘made’ the course. Thoroughly enjoyed the day - didn’t want it to end. I took away so much helpful information and so many new things to try. Would highly recommend!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business -July/Aug 2023

Marianna is a gifted teacher.and was generous with the detailed information and insights that she provided, which comes from her being a subject matter expert.

A wonderful course of anyone who is interested in how to use chatbots/AI. The focus is on business and business marketing - but the lesson learnt are applicable to most other situations.

Would not have been able to research and learn as much by myself. It's been the most instructive and useful course I've attended in the last 5 years (and I've done a lot of CPD and coursework for professional registration).

It also helped with the active participation of a good group of attendees, who Marianna encouraged to ask questions and who shared their learning journey. Thank you Marianna and look forward to joining you in your next brilliant course module.

I really enjoyed my oil painting portraiture and my beginners drawing courses. Ellie is a wonderful, kind and patient teacher. She gave us lots of interesting exercises and covered all the basics.it filled a lot of gaps for me. I really looked forward to my classes each week.

I wanted to walk out of covid learning something new and chose a language. After much research I found the Sydney Community College website easy to navigate (with so many opportunities) and signed up in a heartbeat. Enjoyed basic Greek and have signed up for next level. Efharisto!

The Introduction to Copywriting course I completed last week was incredibly informative, interesting and useful. It was fast-paced but allowed time for class responses and questions. The presenter was knowledgeable and generous in the way he shared information. I now have an increased appreciation of the importance of audience to a copywriter. Highly recommend this course.

Microsoft Office: Word Level 1
This course was brilliant. Denise was clear in her explanation and did more than was stated in the course description. I really feel confident using Word to its full extent.

I attended the WordPress course on 30 Nov and 7 Dec. The tutor, no doubt, very knowledgeable but the subject is so vast that two days can’t satisfy very different levels of interest (I was entirely fresh, but most of the people had exposure of some sort). So, I guess, there should be an introductory course, just to construct something good for going on-line and more specialised one, eg focusing on e-commerce.

I recently completed the Storytelling course with John Knowles. It was excellent and John is a wonderful teacher. I learned more than I thought I would and would recommend this highly to people who want to perfect the art of storytelling in either a professional sense or just for friends / family. Very enjoyable.

I have just completed the third piano course at the Sydney Community College. The teacher, Lucia Ko, was really lovely, very clear in her explanations, patient, and in general fun to learn with. The course gave excellent value for money, considering that most piano lessons are very expensive. Highly recommended!

This was a fantastic way to spend my Sunday. Isabelle has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and is a lovely human. It was a great location with plenty of parking. It was a great introduction to the world of paper, paper folding techniques and bookbinding skills. I highly recommend Isabelle and The Owl and Lion for bookbinding workshops

The massage course conducted by Jade was informative and she was very skillful in disseminating the information and sharing her skills. Very enjoyable and the participants were very friendly and sharing materials and experiences. Thumbs up

I have attended the Greek language course Level 1 with John S for the past 10 weeks. I enjoyed the course a lot, John is a great and motivating teacher. Particularly I enjoyed learning about modern Greece now and also how the modern Greek language has developed over time. The course was online, my first language course online and it was great. Would have loved to continue with level 2 now but the course is only on offer in October.
Thanks John, hope our group and a few more are back with you in October.

Just completed the pattern making extension course with Nola and loved it! Fantastic instructor and a great bunch of fellow sewists. All of us had been winging it for years and the course was perfect to consolidate what we had picked up and build on it. Really glad to have done it.

I enjoyed the course very much the day went very quick and the teacher was excellent on explaining and be positive towards all our drawings, that make us fill good and with hope of improvement. I will come back only which it was more than just 2 Saturdays.
