Adam is very rude and unhelpful.
I’ve been playing phone tag with these people all day who don’t answer phones or reply to emails.
I made an enquiry weeks ago and have been told I was put on a wait list.
Finally get a standard reply outlining fees and the process, I followed the instructions in the email but clearly Adam hasn’t bothered reading this and instead starts asking me questions I’ve already answered.
This process is extremely stressful for anyone trying to understand what might be happening in the world.
Unprofessional.

The team at SCDC have been kind, accommodating & professional.
They have helped our family to function more positively & healthily. I'm grateful to them for their personalised, flexible care.

I was worried that I would be negatively perceived for coming into the centre with self diagnosed autism, but instead I felt very welcomed.

I was seen by Dr Shelley Hyman - I felt the assessment process was very thorough and I never felt like I didn't know what was going on. She was very validating and patient, and didn't rush me through the assessment whatsoever.

The centre was also kind enough to let me incrementally pay off my assessment in the lead up - this was an absolute lifesaver. I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. So happy to finally have the slip of paper giving me access to the supports I've always needed.

Great customer service! Spoke to a case manager Andrew for 40 minutes without being charged a cent or pressured to book an appointment. After having called several other centres and not being given the time of day, it was a pleasure dealing with this center and feeling heard. This is what customer service should be like in a mental health group.

Neurofeedback changed my life. Well worth a try to see if it works for you. After years of feeling tired and depressed, this was like a wake up to my brain. Wish I did it years ago when I first heard about it!

Unprofessional services just cut service without notice and charge more then NDIS agreement. Not recommended at all! Event not provide a final report. Paying service for nothing. Name and shame!

I have a child with Asperger's style autism and ADHD. In chatting with a mum at my child's school one day they said their friend's child who was like mine had benefited from going to Sydney Cognitive Development Centre. Sydney Cognitive Development Centre changed our lives. After approximately six months of neurofeedback at Sydney Cognitive Development Centre my child was able to halve their Concerta dose used to manage their ADHD and halve their melatonin dose used to assist them to sleep. Everything else improved as well. Their sleep improved as did their behaviour. Their smile became more natural and their concentration and sense of humour improved also. I am truly grateful to Shelley and her team at Sydney Cognitive Development Centre as they have forever improved our lives.

Amazing team. They go above and beyond to help. Completely different to any place I have tried before. So many therapy options. The neurofeedback has been awesome.

My son has just finished being treated here and I wanted to write this post so say what a wonderful team they have. Right from the beginning the staff spent hours talking with me before I even booked an appointment. He was diagnosed originally with ADHD, anxiety, behavioural issues and dyslexia. He underwent neurofeedback, something I had never heard of. He had his review last week and he now isn't meeting diagnostic criteria for any of the disorders. His teachers are amazed at the changes in his attention, and he has gone in 6 months from being a poor reader to being actually above average for his age and enjoying reading. Their literacy program was amazing. I want to thank this team who have given my son a chance without me needing to give him any medication.xxx

I thought I'd better write a review as the last review I saw here was entirely misleading and could potentially cost someone a lot of money. I called around last week for pricing and this business was not only one the most well priced, but the review that mentions going to the city instead was over double the cost. It seems like the review was maybe made for the wrong one? I booked in at the place in the city based on the review and have since cancelled. To give an example the Sydney Cognitive Development Centre charges $500 for a brain scan, whereas the place in the city mentioned charged $1300! For a neurofeedback session I was quoted $120 by the place in Bondi, but the place in the city quoted $290 (?). I asked about the qualifications to see why the Bondi place was so much more reasonable- the place in Bondi has a group of specialised neuropsychologists who are brain experts, the place in the city has twos psychologists who are regular psychologists. I could see no justification for paying over double and being treated by someone without university training in neuropsychology. I have rebooked!

It's an impressive little racket they have going here. Mainly preying on fears of families with kids and adults with adhd. You are charged the most exorbitant fees before they even begin. You do these "assessments" which just involves you filling out a lot of info but they will charge you a massive 4 figure sum. They claimed it was necessary but really you're just doing their job for them. When it starts, the staff are inexperienced providing generic info but you feel compelled to keep going because you've already spent all this money doing the so called "assessment" which you could probably find in a mashable survey quiz. Didn't help at all. Went to see another physiologist in the CBD for one on one consultation and they took the time to find out about my history and work through a proper treatment plan
