Sydney Breast Clinic - Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment reviews
19Gold standard breast care. It is so reassuring to be able to have the biopsy taken and viewed immediately at the same visit. All of the staff are lovely too
I recently went to Sydney Breast Clinic for a worrying breast lump. The process took approx 3.5 hrs. During that time, I received a consultation with Dr. Long and had a contrast enhanced mammogram and an ultrasound, and biopsies. My images were interpreted on the spot.
The process was seamless and all the staff were very considerate and caring. I was thoroughly impressed. Would recommend for anyone who is super anxious about their breast lump. The centralisation meant that I was able to get an answer quicker rather than going to a million different places. And also meant that the staff dealing with me had expertise in this area!
Staff were great but very unrealistic wait time given. I was told 3 hours and I waited 5 then had to leave before finishing the process as I had somewhere else to be. Be prepared to wait the entire day and wait time to keep getting extended
Staff exceptional, set up is well done enabling privacy and access to all amenities. Yea, coffee and biscuits to help tide the time whilst waiting between appointments.
Staff always ensured made aware of times … especially helpful as my assistance dog was with me.
Thank you for making us both feel welcome … much appreciated
Such an amazing team of professionals. I visited the clinic twice after finding a breast lump. It was really stressful for me but both times I felt comfortable.
Extremely caring, friendly, professional service all round. I highly highly recommend Sydney Breast Clinic. So grateful I came here today.
I booked in for my first ever screening and felt 110% comfortable and cared for. The staff at the city location are lovely and kind. From start to finish (consultation, mammogram, ultrasound) the screening took approx 3hrs so bring a book, headphones, snacks, etc. There is a kitchenette with coffee, tea and biscuits too. Wear a top that is easy to take on/off.
I when to the clinic because I had a lump in my breast. They were very professional at the beginning of the process but was in the diagnostic when I didn’t get any attention, the completely forgot about me and my results, almost a month later I had to called them to ask about the results. On top of that, I had to pay extra money in the hospital for something I was never informed. I told the clinic this issue and they just didn’t care.
Called about getting an appointment regarding my tumour. Staff were extremely rude, condescending and made me feel so uncomfortable over the phone. Was told a nurse would contact me and they haven’t. As a 21 year old experiencing this for the first time I’m scared and they made me feel so much worse.
Edit: staff have contacted me and made steps to better my next experience
Want to say Thankyou to the staff - They looked after me. I was quite anxious regarding the Lump. The beautiful Italian receptionist was amazing. Always checking up on me during the Day. Dr Katrina very gentle, and explained everything. She made me feel comfortable during this process. Nurse Dianne and Sonographers were very caring. If you are worried about a lump to you breast and want a place that has everything- This is the place. Its not cheap however its worth every cents. They are extremely thorough and caring.
Just wanna say a big Thank you to Dr. Katrina, sonographer Louise and Maria and the lovely receptionist lady at the front and the nurse for the smooth and kind care today. The whole team really caring and gentle. Really appreciate it. Thank you for looking after me today.
If I could put 100 stars I’d do it. Everything was worth it, they were absolutely amazing and professional.
Thank you for existing
Professional, caring and friendly environment. They explained all the scans and treatments as I was having them and made me feel at ease. I would highly recommend them.
You'll wait forever and no one will answer the phone when you need results. Considering this is a private clinic, the service is abysmal and the staff treat you as if you are a school girl. Stay away
A one stop shop for women and their breast health, I am extremely happy I found this place it was worth every cent, I highly recommend to all women who want state of the art breast screening that’s all done in one appointment in one location and who want knowledgeable empathetic caring staff!
Very professional and at the same time friendly environment. Every procedure is explained and carried out with the highest possible delicacy and respect. Receptionists, Nurses, Radiologists, and Doctors are all wonderful and true professionals. Thank you for such a hight quality service.
Very nice people, they look after me.it hard for me to speak English but they made it simple to understand what they say
The Doctors, Nurses, Radiologists and all the staff at Sydney Breast Clinic are absolutely wonderful. They take time to explain each procedure, how your time will pan out while you are there for testing, and are thorough and communicative. The environment is welcoming and comforting and was an excellent experience during an uncomfortable and worrying time. You do pay top price for this service, but the convenience of having everything done under one roof and the thorough and competent staff, is truly worthwhile. Highly recommend.
The patient experience was ok, even if I did not appreciate mostly sitting in the waiting room for half a day and had to come back a 2nd time. The worst part was the payment. I had to get a cheque from Medicare and post it to St Vincent. That in itself takes weeks and St Vincent kept on chasing me for the money. Well it turns out St Vincent did not get the cheque I posted, so not I have to go through the same circus again. And Medicare can't send the cheque directly to the hospital for some silly reason. Can't comment about the medical services, but the payment is the most complicated I've ever dealt with. Seems to me it's made to make the clinique life easier, not the patients.
