Didn’t get the cut I asked for, can’t even see the “fade”. Thought it being on the city and being $45 would give me the result I wanted. +1 star though for blow drying the hair off every 5 mins… lol

Often walked past the shop and thought I must try it out. Wished I’d kept on walking as it’s probably the worst cut I’ve had in Sydney. Never been spun in the chair to save the guy walking around before. The young lad seemed ok but when I asked him to trim a bit more he seemed to take it personally. Definitely wouldn’t go back and at $46 for a short back and sides the decision is final.

Best haircut I’ve had in 5 years. Walk in only. Had Gabriel - was amazing. Never been here before but I’ll be back, definitely recommend!

When the kid yes kid that worked there saw that I live in a affluent suburb he began the process of absolutely butchering my hair. If you see him and this place stay away. He has a tattoo on his face. What he didn't know is I understand Arabic to a certain level and this place is just a Barber shop and is a front to do shady things, I'll leave the rest up to your imagination. Never again.

Barber’s sense of humour is warped. Don’t really find his insult funny at all. The hairstyle he gave me in the end isnt good either. Disappointed.

As a black guy I’m always skeptical about trying new places to have my hair cut but the boys here did a fantastic job, they put in so much time and effort for a very reasonable price. Best haircut I’ve ever gotten

The guys at Sydney Barbers always keep me looking fresh and their fades, unmatched.

Been going here for about a year, not only is it a place where I can chill out to some tunes, but also being able to speak about the stress of life any and other issues that I maybe going through.

Got a new guy who totally botched my head, and was completely unconcerned about it. I pointed out to him how it was wrong, and not only did he dismiss my complaint with "it's only a couple of hairs, " but he didn't even show me the back of my head with a mirror before finishing (when I got home I discovered why!) and left clumps of cut hair on my forehead that I had to brush off. Sydney Barbers is usually pretty dependable, but I think I just got a guy on his first day with no supervision.

Shop fitout is well designed - high ceilings, cool AC, and plenty of natural light. Brick and glass with a timber look joinery creates a classic barber look.
Premises are tidy, clean and not cluttered.
The chairs are comfortable and correctly positioned to the mirror and lighting.
Muhammad literally did the best haircut and trim/shave I ever had. He had the dexterity of a professional - never rushed, albeit efficient in all his movements.
I don't think I will be getting my haircut anywhere else from now on.
I do recommend the early morning (8am) or late evening (7pm), as Muhammad said it gets busy at lunchtime and between 4-5pm.

Quality cut & very efficient in getting in & out. All staff are very friendly & you don’t even need an appointment. Highly recommended for anyone needing a barber. Shout out to Medz

Haircut was great but the apprentice who tried to cut my hair was very rude, I specifically told him what hairstyle I want and everything I said, he would disagree with me and respond in a very attitude way so I requested for another barber to cut my hair and he was very nice and friendly so would definitely recommend this place if you choose anyone else besides the apprentice to cut your hair

Unfortunately the owner has been the victim of some online bullying and slander when it comes to recent reviews.

Great work with sorting out my fade and lining up the beard before attending my sisters wedding. Would strongly recommend to anyone who is after consistently great work. Always a pleasure fellas!

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE in their branch in north Sydney,
The barber didn't understand what I wanted and somewhere in the middle I shouted stop! Very poor communication over my request and it was very late when I just had lost few months grown hair.

I SUGGEST DON'T TRUST THEIR RATE and if you still risk to go, make sure guy called AJ understands you well before he starts. Don't get distracted with 10 questions about your background instead of your hair style need.

Thanks to Zac and the boys at Sydney Barbers in Hunter Street. I blew in for a buzz cut and an old school straight razor face shave. Great service and excellent value for money. Cheers!

Best barbers in Sydney CBD! Tried a few others in the area that couldn’t do a proper fade, got a perfect fade from Sydney Barbers and great price too.

I would personally recommend this barbershop to anyone who looks for a barber with a high level of attention to detail. I got a fade and beard lineup done by Hassan. Hassan was on another level. I would recommend Hassan to anyone who is looking for a barber who has the highest level of attention to detail. He has the ability to make you look a million bucks.

The owner, Zack is a great guy as well. Amazing charisma and great character. Always looking after everyone and ensuring everything runs smoothly. He is also the man for the job.
