Super efficient, friendly, organised, good and easy parking and very flexible and understanding. Staff all seemed to have the same high work ethic and friendliness.

My husband and I are so so glad we gave birth to our first baby at the SAN. The staff have been so supportive, patient and helpful as we started our journey as parents esp with my anxieties around breastfeeding, postpartum recovery and settling our baby. They’ve proactively checked in everyday of our stay and answered questions over and over again that my frazzled baby brain couldn’t comprehend in one go. Facilities and amenities are impeccable.

I am already recommending the SAN to all my friends who are planning for pregnancies. Thank you all so much!

Have had a really positive experience with my TKR under Dr Jun Nagamori and all the staff at The San. Totally excellent care and facilities. Would highly recommend to anyone considering elective surgery at this hospital!

The Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga operates as a private healthcare facility. It offers an experience akin to a luxurious hotel, albeit with a bit more discomfort, given the nature of medical procedures ;)
I recently had the privilege of staying at the Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga for a hernia operation. I can't express enough how impressed I am with the entire experience. From the moment I walked through the doors to the moment I left, the level of care and compassion I received was excellent.
All the staff I had went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for. No question was too small, and they took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could understand.
The cleanliness and organization of the hospital is top-notch.
The technology and equipment at SAN is cutting-edge. The cozy and private rooms were relaxing, and the nutritious and delicious meals were above the norm. They honestly thought of everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible.
In conclusion, my experience at the SAN was excellent. They turned what could have been a challenging time into a positive and reassuring experience. I recommend this hospital and give them five stars.

I had an exceptional experience having my first baby here. Having been a “San baby” myself, it was wonderful to return to have my own baby. I had a planned caesarean, which all went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. We loved our midwives (though be prepared to have many of them pass through during a 5 night stay!). The night nursery was a godsend for us, which we utilised on the last night to ensure we left the hospital with a decent sleep under our belt. The only “negative” to mention is the daybed for partners to stay overnight on is not designed for those of above-average height. My husband is broad and 6’5” and really struggled. Regardless, we’d definitely return for any future babies. Hopefully by then they have bigger daybeds!

Emergency is super bad … if you have to go emergencies please go to public hospital, much quicker than this private hospital, we are waiting for 4 hours still not anyone to see us. … ask reception, the answer is: we are super busy, i can’t tell you how long you will to wait …. Perfect… nice answer…. If we are not hurry up to see the doctor we won’t come to emergency…. Next time I will save money go to public, much better

The place is well equipped and maintained, as you've expected from a private hospital.
Our experience from the maternity ward was fantastic and vastly different from the emergency services, which i had reviewed & rated separately.

I had my 2 years of age daughter tonight here at emergency dep, with 4 episodes of vomiting and 3 episodes of vomiting here at the hospital. Staff even didn’t care about that. People arrived after my daughter with mild symptoms or even same condition been admitted before her. Horrible experience at Sydney Adventist Hospital Wahroonga.

I would like to share my feedback on my admission to Sydney Adventist Hospital on February 20,2023. I had a successful procedure performed by Dr. Juliana Kanawati and George Zhong, and the nurses, Loon, Rain, and Sarah, were all friendly and helpful. The food server, Mary, was very accommodating, and the admission department made the entire process, including discharge, convenient and easy. Overall, I had a great experience at the hospital.

May look neat and modern, but God help you if you are new to the hospital and need parking instructions. Buildings are not clearly marked and getting proper instructions on the phone is at best confusing. Having said that, went to Radiology for CT scan, where staff were very professional. Locks on toilets and change rooms need servicing.

Doctors delivered wrong information and not take correct assessment on the patient.if they told us in time 21 days ago that they don't have any solution, we could try to seek for second opinion early and don't need to be stucked in the hospital.and all the doctors refused to try assess whether the patient could eat, until 7days later we asked the nurse to try to feed the patient some puree, and successed.however, the patient still had no treatment since the first day has been sent to hospital from emergency.doctors told us we could only watch the patient to die.however this problem was caused by them.they wasted us important 21days, and now they just want the patient to die quickly or leave hospital with against medical advice.they just want to force our family to make dicision with these 2 options.and block all our ways to seek for hope.they just want to tolerent the patient and family.maybe they think control other's life is very funny and enjoyed.i really feel it is racist just like some nurses here.it is very serious matter and we want to share to all other people who will see this review.

I have just undergone mitral valve surgery performed by Dr Brian Plunkett at the SAN. I am so thankful to Brain and and his team including Dr Dennis Wang for what they have done for me.
The SAN is a fantastic facility which I can't say enough about. Getting given another chance to live a normal life is the biggest gift one can give.
Thanks to all involved.

Best hospital in NSW hands down. You are looked at holistically, instead of the, 'lets do one issue per admission'. I thank the good Lord for the SANS. The Doctor's don't mind being challenged, and the nurses are compassionate and empathetic. ️

Wow - what a place! I have heard first-hand how amazing the SAN Maternity unit is but I did not fully understand until I had my own experience during my birth as a FTM.

The midwives and doctors are incredibly caring and empathetic. They take the time to explain things to you, to give you choice and control but also to provide you with true care. Nothing was ever too much and I found that they always came to me before I needed to come to them for anything. Special shout out to my OB Dr Sarah Greenwood and the amazing midwives my husband and I had the pleasure of dealing with - Holly, Sarah, Lara, Amelia, Steph, Jo, Sue and the ladies at Special Care Karen, Felicity, Vivian, as well as Dr Chaitow our paeditrician. I am sure there are many other names I have missed and I apologise for that!

Thank you to the entire team for making me and my husband feel comfortable, supported and in safe hands during the birth of my daughter and during recovery. I am truly grateful.

Amazing hospital, amazing emergency department, excellent obstetric and midwife team. Their birthing suits and after care is incredible. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Would NOT recommend this hospital to any pregnant ladies due to the poor attitude and service of some maternity ward nurses and midwives. As a first-time mum who just experienced a c-section and was struggling with producing breastmilk, I was rudely forced to breastfeed my baby by a few staff even after we made the decision to wait and observe how my body would react. My partner felt verbally ashamed by a couple of nursery staff when they found out that we could not provide breastmilk for the night-time feed. These awful experiences literally made me bursted into tears for multiple times without stopping on day 3…

We do understand the benefits of breastfeeding and have been trying a variety of ways of transitioning into this new stage but unfortunately did not receive enough respect or support from these people. The whole trip has turned into a nightmare and even caused me panic attack when I thought about it.

Shout out to Shauna and Michelle who showed genuine understanding and shared their warmest love and care during the worst time of my life. And thanks so much to Dr. Chang for ensuring that my surgery was a success.

Terrible care for my mother who came in to get a reconstructed hip. Anaesthetist gave the wrong anaesthetics, which resulted for cpr. There was neglected care by doctors and nurses. Two nurses with a ratio of 30 patients - horrible. Couldn't even assist my mother who needed to have a shower, who slipped her head and had three Brain strokes and was in coma. Social Worker who was there, didn't even know what she was doing. Didn't even own up to your actions, especially the doctors who were aligned to her. It was only for a surgery but so much had happened to her that she ended up passing away. Our experience was terrifying, and traumatising.
