I have attended Pilates classes with the highly personable Physio’s at this practice for several years. The individualised Pilates programs make a significant impact to ongoing strength, balance, minimising/ preventing injuries and overall wellbeing. Shout outs to Drew & Amy for Pilates plus the odd tune up session when needed! Satoko for best therapeutic massages…. Very capable caring, patient and lovely team across the board especially when you’re injured and recovering/ rehabilitating 10/10

I thoroughly recommend Drew Howlett and Bonnie Moray from Sydney Advanced Physio. Drew and Bonnie take the time to properly diagnose and treat you. Treatment and follow up is exceptional. Drew and Bonnie’s work and dedication is much appreciated!

Attended my first remote pilates class last week. It worked really well. Pip was still able to offer personal feedback and specific instructions to individuals. Recommend you to give it try.

A great and easy to use online physio consultation.

I just participated in my first online consultation with Sydney Advanced Physiotherapy and found the consultation to be just as valuable as visiting the actual practice. It was really easy to use (I am terrible with technology, so was very pleased) and felt just as personal and comprehensive.

I have recently started working from home and needed guidance in setting up my home office to ensure I manage my back pain correctly. My physio checked that everything was set up correctly for me and we went through exercises that are conducive to my new work environment.

Thank you for still being able to assist me during this period - it is a handy new service and I am appreciative that I can still see you!

After visiting multiple physio's in the past 10 years for multiple different injuries, I've found Sydney advanced physiotherapy to be by far the best. I've seen multiple different physio's there only due to availability when I've injured myself, all of them have been highly knowledgeable and have quickly treated and worked on rehabilitation within a few sessions. The staff are friendly and helpful, I've even sent my elderly parents there as I was more than comfortable recommending pip and her team.

I could not recommend this place more highly. I have seen several of the physios here and they are all absolutely top notch, able to perform whole body assessments to work out exactly what is wrong, and give appropriate treatments and home-based exercises to fix the problem. The Pilates classes, and massages with Miki and Satoko are also excellent. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks Pip and team - you are all awesome!

I can recommend Miss Pip highly. Miss Pip is by far the best physio I've seen. She is helping me fix my bloated tummy and diastasis recti post birth. Before seeing Miss Pip I went to see another two physios who were reputable in Ryde area but neither of them identified the real issue caused my bloated tummy amoung the DR. The same issue has been bothering me for three years after both pregnancies. Then I decided to go extra mile and went to see Miss Pip who went for a holistic examination with the ultrasound machine internally and externally on my core and pelvic floor muscles and she figured out the alignment issue on my body that caused the real problem. It turned out the alignment issue on my rib cage, diaphragm and right foot contributed to the main problem. I've been following Miss Pip's method and doing gentle exercises to fix the alignment issue in order to achieve an ultimate result on exercise. My bloated tummy has already half gone first month after seeing her. The result is just phenomenal! I highly recommend Miss Pip to women post birth. Don't look elsewhere but find the best physio at Sydney advanced physiotherapy. It will ultimately save you time and money. Not to mention it's priceless when one gains health and confidence back.

I tried this practice out of desperation when I suffered from RSI that prevented me using my hands and included a lot of pain through my upper body. I'd previously seen a different physio, but had only gotten worse under their treatment. However, from my first visit to Ali, that changed. Her extensive education and experience allowed her to use a variety of treatments that began to help me straight away, and over the next few months, the pain eased and I regained full use of my hands. I can now do things I thought I might never be able to do again, even basic things like sitting normally in chairs when I go out.

As Ali treated me, she also educated me, so I can now manage my symptoms without further visits. I am pain free, and if my symptoms recur, I know what to do so they don't become chronic again. Although the visits weren't cheap, they were far cheaper than paying a physio that couldn't help me and I've saved thousands from not having surgery. I've learned from other clients I've gotten to know that every physio in this practice is excellent. This is because Pip, the owner, is very careful when she chooses who she employs. I unreservedly recommend this practice!

Pip is the best physio I've ever encountered. She is extremely knowledgeable in the Integrated Systems Method and knows how to properly treat a hypermobile body. She's helped me make long term progress that I was never able to make under other physiotherapists.

I had shocking back pain at week 18 of my third pregnancy - thankfully Pip was able to identify the cause of my problem which oddly turned out to be my foot! Made such a difference in one session and enabled me to continue to look after my first 2 children all the way till the arrival of our third - will forever be grateful for her help!

This is a great physiotherapy practice where the staff really see you as a person and help you to achieve your goals. Pip's experience and knowledge have allowed me not only to skate, but to compete as a figure skater when so many others said that my body would not be able to.

Have been nearly pain free since starting to go to Sydney advanced Physiotherapy. Pip & Owen are absolutely awesome. Wish I was in Sydney more than every 2 months.

I have been seeing Jeremy for treatment and would highly recommend booking with him. I've been pain free as a result which has been amazing. I had significant improvements in such a short time and can't believe the results.

We found our session on Baby Massage with Pip really enjoyable and so helpful. She gave me specific advice on what to do with my baby and how to make the most of a session together. He just loves his massage time, and so do I.

Pip Coomes is a brilliant physio who has helped with my strength and conditioning for competitive cricket and has assisted in a successful hamstring rehabilitation after a grade two tear. Her wealth of knowledge and intricate expertise can not only be seen in the array of qualifications that adorn her office wall, it is experienced through the professional manner in which she approaches every facet of her work. I would recommend Pip and her team to anyone.

Felt like I was trying to be sold to the whole time. Did not feel like your typical physio appointment. Went there because I had a pain in my chest. Owen was quick to identify that it was my Sternoclavicular joint. He did a treatment and advised that i should use a spikey ball. At the register they assumed that i was buying one - including it in the price. I found this a bit odd as I had no requested so I then informed that I did not need one as my flatmate had one. After they processed my rebate, they then again gave me the price including the spikey ball. Again I let them know that I did not need one. Then they booked me in for 3 more appointments which i found unnecessary as i've never had that before from any of the physio's i've been to. The next appointment being for Friday at 12: 30. I get a text message on Thursday at 9: 30 advising me of my appointment on Friday at 12: 30 and notifying me that there was a 24 hour cancelation policy that applies. This was enough for me to call up and cancel all existing appointments. I then went to an Osteo in Chatswood and explained my issue, she straight away told me that treatment for this joint was not advised as it usually just inflames the area and won't help it. She told me to take anti-inflammatories for the next week.
I am really disappointed by this clinic as it had great reviews. But I felt more like a customer trying to be sold to then a patient that they wanted to heal. I would expect this at a car dealership, not a healing centre.

Pip and her team are all fantastic. The pilates and massages by Miki are great too. Would highly recommend to anyone. Have been to dozens of physios and this one is the best!

Some years ago, after many years of physiotherapists (and others such as chiropractors) being unable or barely able to reduce the ongoing problems of my neck and back, I found Pip Coombes at Sarah Key Physio in the city. One measure of her success was that my tennis game improved vastly as my neck mobility improved. Pip discovered that my TMJ (temperomandibular joint) is highly involved in my problems. Alas Pip went to England for a few years, so I struggled along for a while, but now Pip is back in Sydney, charging reasonable prices so that the person whom I think has the best technical knowledge combined with the best practical skills in this field now works on my neck problem and has improved my quality of life. Visitors to my home ask what the "two tennis balls" - that (as far as I know) she invented and gave me for free - is for. I show them it in action on my back. Highly recommended.

The best Physio I've ever visited. I have a hunched back and after one treatment, my work colleagues (out of the blue) started commenting on how much better my posture looked. Amazing results!
