Supercheap Auto Marsden Park

My go to shop, staff are very friendly, always price match and stores are better kept with convenient timings. Marsden Park gets busy, but besides trying to look for parking, theres always stock in store and someone to help you out.

Usually has everything I need. Except when I needed some filters. I went to repco for those. $470 that super cheap didn’t get. Oh well, I guess repco is better.

Yesterday I was at the SCA Marsden Park NSW store and experienced exceptional customer service from the guys at the checkout counter. I was looking for an item and could not find it on the shelf. The guys not only proactively found it for me, they even did a great price match after comparison with a competitors' site. I did not expect that. Super Great thanks.

I went first time to this store to buy wiper refill. I took out wiper arm to get suitable refill. Manager checked the arm to find suitable refill. I asked about the blades which was on special price tag whether that will fit in the wiper. He mentioned yes for Item No. 213377 and no for other one. I was happy that I got special price. When I was replacing the refill, I found that old one has metal back and the purchased one has plastic back. I sided the refill but it was not locking as this item has steel bracket and old one has rubber tab to locked by pushing it to the end. Moreover it was loose in the track so, when I started wiper on, they were more wibbly wobbly and making noise. So I went back to discuss about this issue. He blamed me as I chose from special price tag, it was my selection whether it will fit or not. He was happy to refund the money. So I bought the correct one by paying extra $10. He asked me to returned old refill. As I bought new one, no need to use the first item as they may come off from the arm as they were not properly locked. He told me to return the first item on the spot, so I took out the arms and remove the faulty refills and returned it to Manager. I asked the manager that I have to drive without wiper arm fixed as new one I can fix at home. He told me he can fix it for $5 for fitting. Therefore, he is not technical and ethical person being manager of Marsden park SCA.

Right product should be suggested. While returning the faulty refill, the Manager told me that Michlin arms are useless, they do not fit refill. But with new product, the refill was locked perfectly.

Called the store to ask if we could get headlights changed, one of the guys said sure not a problem, we let them know we’ll be there in 10ish minutes. We get there and the lady (I am assuming manager since she wants to have so much attitude) yells out to her staff WHO said we can do a headlight change? Was it you? Putting one of the staff in an awkward position and quite embarrassed. Poor customer service from everyone, old lady is extremely disgruntled and rude. Retire already, sheesh. Won’t be returning and wasted our time which is really frustrating, we were told to do it ourselves lol if we could we would yeah? Tf

The Marsden Park employees were highly efficient, friendly and informative. I felt all my car needs were met and all questions answered.

Waited 10 mins at counter for the guy at service counter for two staff - needed to make touch up paint. Only for him to tell me he needs to go on a break and come back in half an hour. Poor customer service Supercheap.

Sam at the Marsden Park store was fantastic, he went above and beyond giving me the best customer service you could ask for. He gave me in depth answers to all my questions and helped me get what was best required for my project. Will definitely come back!

Returned a faulty century battery with a faulty battery water indicator, however staff, and manager on duty refused to refund or replace.
They advise me to go to the manufacturer, or contact their head office.
They tested the battery itself and confirmed it was ok.
They gave me a copy of their warranty process from century and the first item said “check battery water indicator”! Obviously NOT WORKING!

Very inconvenient, I will not be trusting anything I buy from here again.

Why?

This is by far the worst Supercheap I have ever been too, they have no other parts other than oil filters I would definitely not come here again, unless I need car wash or air freshener.

Such friendly, helpful staff, the girls at front counter exceptionally friendly & polite always with a smile despite repeating the same mantra to every customer. Asking politely if customers are a member, would you like to round up your purchase and donate to charity etc. Always happy, just a wonderful shopping experience. Store has great range of products, great prices, highly recommend this store.

Was served by the store manager on a couple of occasions and it was by far the best customer service I've received in a while

Witnessed something odd at this SCA,
The customer wanted to return faulty product and a chick on the registry claimed to be the store manager, tried to be smart saying, leave the product here, we send the product to manufacturer and if it's faulty, will be in touch in couple of weeks!
Then he was asking her name but she said, not going to.
Then the customer asked a salesman to box the item to take it home while that lady on the phone asking him to talk to the store manager then thrown piece of paper at him! Just unprofessional.

Had what i wanted, including new windscreen washers, but their prices have jumped up slightly on some random things. Not noticeable if you not in their a lot. Customer service was good

Lots of parking easily accessible for people including disabled access and plenty of car and 4x4 parts and accessories

Fabulous Staff, they were so helpful, it has been a long, long time since I have found people so obliging. Highly recommended.

Walked in at 4.55 pm. Old lady at the counter was not keen on helping. Shaking her head left and right showing dis satisfaction. Had no knowledge of products. Didn't want to search computer to match wiper blade. Young Man next to her said need to order it in, but very reluctant. Felt very bad when I left.

Very helpful. Didn't try and force the sale of the more expensive items which I was surprised in a good way even though I got the more expensive items as it was for my daughters car.
