Supercheap Auto

I needed new wiper blades so I stopped at Supercheap Mayfield and I was greeted when I walked in and a female staff member was happy to fit them to my car for me.

Went there this morning to purchase 2 Century lithium batteries on special. There were none left when I got there but Zac and all the staff there worked together to find me 2 of the same batteries at the same price. Top marks to all of you. You are a credit to Supercheap Auto.

The staff were more interested in talking to each other on their headsets. No one asked if I needed help. I had to find someone to get help and that was not really helpful.

Large store with great range of products including bulk containers. Friendly helpful staff who are knowledgeable and well presented. Good parking.

Great range they seem to offer a good better best option for everything.
I joined their loyalty program and got a nice discount as well. All in all a great place to buy

I ordered windshield wipers online and they weren’t the best, came in store and Toni helped out right away, helping me to switch to better wipers that mean I can actually see. Would highly recommend speaking to anyone in this store if you need help as if Toni is an example of the level of service they offer you know you’re in safe hands.

I think it really poor that when an elderly lady really really needs to use the loo she's told it's for staff only. Surely it would not have killed yous to make an exception. What goes around

I arrived in store really early for a click and collect and the store was busy. I was very quickly acknowledged by the staff even though they were clearly understaffed. They quickly pulled my order and had it ready for me! Great service and all staff were happy despite being flat out!

Really good customer service. Had called in few times enquirering about the same product. Stefh from the spare part Didn’t mind it at all and helped me a making the right purchase.

Unless you like getting abused by the staff, go to any other Supercheap in the area but this one. I went in there today to get a air filter but this store doesn't have a touchscreen to look it up yourself so I thought, no problem I'll just ring the bell and wait at the parts counter. I waited.and waited. Twice staff members walked past but seemed busy and thought to myself, that maybe they didn't hear the bell so, after giving it five minutes, I dinged it again. Then it began. A different staff member came down ranting, and I quote "I don't know who is constantly ringing the bell but can't they see we are busy", looking me in the eye the whole time. Guess what, no, no we can't see how busy you are when we're in the back of the shop. I've corrected her on how we only rang it the twice and told this staff member that they need to drop the attitude. They've just remarked how they're not here to argue and "what do you want anyway? " Well, I wasn't there to argue either and told them I didn't need their help anymore as I was leaving. Unfortunately, I couldn't really tell if the staff member was male or female so I've asked their name. It was Tony/Toni so that didn't help.
Long story, short- do not bother with Supercheap Newcastle and their abusive staff. Unless you like that sort of thing

They always help in everyway tho customers significantly out number staff all the time, they could do with more floor staff but the team that's there will go above n beyond for you massive range and great specials

Shaun and his team are excellent! Had a battery die on my Ford Everest. A century battery that was one month shy of 2 years old. Got the vehicle jumped and brought it up to them. And told them what I had try to sort the issue. Shaun tested the battery and confirmed that it was on its way out. The battery was under warranty. He dealt with the warranty issue, got me sorted with a new battery free of charge and fitted the old battery and had me on my way in less than an hour. Shaun as well as the team were friendly and humble. They always make sure to go out of there way to say hi and ask if you need help on previous tomes at the shop. Really great team working at Newcastle store! Definitely recommend them for your automotive needs.

During Covid restrictions (late21) they didn't have a facility for people that didn't have internet access for click and collect.
I rang to place an order, said I didn't have access to computer or a smart phone at the time, I asked for some oil n filter and to pay via tap n go at the click and collect point. I also offered to pay via credit card over the phone, they refused to help me.
So I rang Autobarn and they did a it for me in a few minutes notice!
And the advice at Autobarn is far more knowledgeable!

The two young ladies working the day I went were fabulous, so helpful & nothing was too much trouble
