This is my third visit.love it so.hope to go again before they close shop.thank you for the care and attention to detail in so many ways - food - pleasant hospitality - atmosphere!

Such a beautiful place! The owners are exceptionally friendly people and the food is to die for!

Nothing was a problem to cater for our Gluten Free guests. It is always a enjoyable time at SBE

Everything from the food, decor, the staff and the gorgeous Harmony who makes the best goodies ever, was brilliant. You can't go past Sugar, Butter Eggs. Book now! You won't regret it.

My favourite place to have high tea. Even my husband loves it when I go there, because he always gets at least one leftover scone!

Tom and Harmony at Sugar, Butter and Eggs are wonderful. I booked for a bridal shower and they were so accommodating for our large group. In the lead up, communication with Tom, whilst booking and confirming closer to the day was fantastic. On the day, they had a big table waiting and were very patient with our orders. With regards to food and drink, the devonshire scones are to die for and the coffee is delicious. I will definitely revisit. Thank you so much for having us and making the day that extra bit special for my sister ️. Worth a visit or to host an event!

I went with my 6yo daughter for a mummy/daughter day and it was perfect! The scones w/cream and jam are to die for! My daughter had the children’s high tea and her face lit up when it arrived. I absolutely loved every morsel of my high tea. Very high quality, very friendly service and great atmosphere. I felt like I’d been transported back to the 1930’s. Highly recommend!

I have been to Sugar Butter Eggs a few times now, but this special visit was a xmas gift to my family. The excitement of a 7 and 5 year old to be here was wonderful to see. And their faces when their food arrived. The service and attention was brilliant and of course the food divine. Thank you Harmony & Tom

Had a beautiful Couples High Tea at Sugar Butter Eggs. Venue was very quaint, staff were friendly and engaging, and the food was delicious. Both sweet and savoury items were great, which to be honest is not always the case for a high tea. It was also very affordable and we appreciated the Couples High Tea option was lighter (if you prefer the full sized option you can of course just order 2 normal high teas). Already planning to come back:)

5 of us came down from Sydney (4 adults 1 child) for high tea. Beautiful set up. Both adult and child high tea was delicious - best tasting scones we've ever had and delicious tea! Blackberry jam was unexpected but in a great way! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Will definitely be back again.

Great service and reasonably priced. My friend and I were running late and when I called to explain they were very understanding. Great jazz music playing in the background with delicious food.

The best high tea ive ever had! Everything is super soft, desserts are beautifully made and scones super yummy! All is made with love.extremely reasonably priced for such a beautiful and delicious high tea.we expected $72pp but this price is for 2 (couples high tea). Would highly reccomend, we will be back again and bringing others.maccas parking across the road is perfect and close.so many great crafts and large range of drinks and tea. We loved our visit thank you!

We just love Sugar Butter Eggs! Not only is the food fabulous but so is the service. Tom and Harmony are just beautiful people who went above and beyond to spoil us and catered to our every need. Even with dietary requirements they pulled out all the stops!
Thank you guys for a lovely relaxing time. We will definitely be back 5 stars all the way, can’t recommend them highly enough!

I went to share my birthday with my family. Its hard to eat out being dairy free. Vegan scones were beautiful and they even made me a dairy free cupcake with candle. What a lovely experience to share.

Hosted a surprise baby shower for 12 people here at sugar butter eggs and it was the cutest little event.
The staff were amazing, polite and very accommodating with the set up. The food was delicious and very filling. 5/5

What a gorgeous space. I walked in and immediately felt the love that has been put into this tea house.
The Devonshire Tea was beautiful and the scone was delicious.
Harmony was a true delight. Would recommend to anyone.

Enjoyed the most beautiful high tea in this treasure of a tea shop. Food was presented beautifully and flavoursome, including the vegetarian option. Staff were all friendly and there was a nice variety of teas to choose from.

Who needs to have High Tea in Sydney. I have experienced various High Tea Establishments & this place does it better than most. A great Illawarra business specialising in High Teas or pop in for a coffee. We had a couples Champagne High Tea today for my husband’s 60th birthday celebrations. It was so delicious. The atmosphere is gorgeous & relaxing. They also sell handmade & vintage gifts…. Tea related of course. Looking forward to our next visit
