Jay and Cress, thank you so much for giving me such a fabulous first experience in your salon! Not only did you give me great advice, a fantastic colour, cut and blow dry and a fabulous massage - thank you Jay, you gave me a new feeling about myself. Jay and Cress did a great job on my balayage going from black Asian hair to ash-brown. Highly reccomend for any ethnics in the area as they know how to handle our hair! Also killer head massage after shampoo.

If love your hair like one of your children and your sceptical on where to go because your worried about if a stylist will truly get your hair. Then I can honestly say look no further the Styles in Silk hair salon! This salon is the biggest hidden gem in Gosford and the coast. From the moment I walked into Styles in Silk I immediately felt relaxed, from the smell of home made burner scents made by owner Chris herself, to the ambient lighting and elegant decor.

Chris saw my vision and made it into something greater! She was honest about what works for my face and what my hair could handle. The result is beyond what I could have dreamed off. She made me feel anew within myself again just through my hair! I will be coming back again and again and I found the only place I trust to care and understand my hair!

BONUS: Best salon head massage I have ever had!

I've been growing my red hair going on 10+ years now, and I've always been so hesitant to try new places considering the length and colour but after lockdown I thought it was time to bite the bullet and get a bit of maintenance done before the holidays! After seeing the amazing reviews for Styles in Silk, I went ahead and booked, they fit me in ASAP despite their busy schedule and my gosh, the second I walked through the door I was not disappointed! I felt instantly welcomed and the entire vibe of the salon was perfect and comfortable. They knew exactly how to wash/cut/style my length (the massage almost put me into paradise.) and were very understanding of my anxiousness to get even a little trim LOL. Straight away this has become my all time favourite salon, I can't see myself going anywhere else ever! The quality and care of both of them was INCREDIBLE! Can't thank them enough for making my entire week <3

They are very warm and welcoming, and make me feel welcomed everytime as if I have been going there for years.

Christina and Jay are both amazing hair stylests, and do an excellent job with my hair.

I always feel really comfortable going there, and that I can always be myself.

It always smells really great in there aswell, and thank you so much for the soy wax melts, I have already used them!

This husband and wife team are the ultimate in supreme customer service and they are literally magicians when it comes to achieving the results you are looking for in hair colouring. Now that Ive found them, I'd never go anywhere else. Sounds corny but there just isn't any better on the Central Coast.
