After hearing so many wonderful reports about Study Vision we decided to give them a call there office staff we wonderful, very friendly
Professional and all questions were answered clearly and to the point. We have had short stay students, teachers and currently have 2 long stay students. My family has learnt so much about there culture their family and their school education but most of all my 2 girls have started learning Chinese which in turn I have passed on my skills as a English teacher. Every night while having dinner we talk about how there day went, Australian culture there likes in either sport eduction food countries and all subject matter this help in many way 1) they learn to speak english 2) they open up about any issues they are having eg school their living arrangements etc. Study Vision has the skills in matching students with hosts great skills and professionalism thk you Marina

Study Vision's service is disappointingly poor! I've had difficulty getting in touch with them via email or text, which was frustrating. What's even more frustrating is the high fees they charge for such terrible service. When I try to contact them, they keep saying they are busy, which is extremely frustrating. If you're going to charge students a premium, it's essential to maintain a high level of professionalism and provide quality service. If you are busy and provide poor services, do not charge that high. Overpriced with terrible services!

In 2016 I began to be a host for Study Vision. Generally the experience has been excellent, with nice kids from overseas interacting with my family. They were initially helped with the practicalities of everyday life here, then started to be involved in family events like birthday parties.
In February 2021 Marina sent me a Masters student from China who has lived In Australia for a year but was now requesting to be placed with a family. During the pandemic we became exercise buddies and explored various parks and waterways, we began playing scrabble then chess, jigsaw puzzles as well. He helped me endless times with computer or phone problems. Every day we talked (in English of course), about all kinds of issues. We watched movies with me explaining unusual items in the subtitles. There was a time when he told me about his loneliness: there came a time when he had made friends and went exploring the country with them, and inevitably there came the time when he met a gorgeous girl on a bus.
I in the meantime was having plenty of surgery with complications and about a month ago a specialist cast doubts about my living arrangements. I am nearly 80 and quite spontaneously, contacted a Retirement Village. They happened to have a small flat with full facilities for the elderly. As soon as I saw this flat I knew it was right for me. Breaking the news to my wonderful mate was very difficult, we both shed a tear and thanked each other profusely. He has now moved into a flat with his girlfriend, however has booked theatre tickets at the Opera House for the three of us to see a Shakespearean play, later in the year. This week he is bringing me boxes for my packing.

I consider myself to be very lucky with my life enriched by knowing this young man.

PS 25 years ago we accepted a Swiss exchange student who had arrived in Australia, however she was homeless as her host father had just had a heart attack. She moved in as our daughter. About 10 years ago my husband and I attended her wedding in Zurich, and we remain friends with her and her parents to this day.

My homestay family has been extremely nice and taking good care of me, cooking my meals, doing laundry and ironing for me. It's been such a great experience, everyone in this house is kind, fun and warm-hearted. I feel so at home here that I'd definitely come back if I ever come to Australia again!
