Strathfield Sports Club reviews
44Played futsal here with a bunch of friends. Booking was simple, and the equipment renting was no hassle.
Normally don’t write reviews but so disgusting this place was. When we arrived the employees were laughing and waving the white customer through and for those that was English as second language the bouncer accused of being drunk then we finally allowed in we got such bad service from the bar staff and also the whole place was over capacity. Avoid for your safety.
I was taught by an instructor here.his name is shawn max.he is very weird and disrespectful to the students.when we dont understand something he will laugh at us and he also mocks us when we reply to him and said we had a stupid face.i find it very disturbing that he also teaches many many little girls whom he touches inappropriately.very strange behaviour.i recommend consulting with the staff to be instructed by another member. Otherwise, the place is lovely and the fried chicken is delicious!
Fantastic night celebrating my first born birthday they were so good with the yummii Korean fried chicken, in fact one of the best in Sydney. Everything was like we were in Korea!
One of the staff at Red Pepper Bistro has a horrible attitude. I went to the bistro many times and this is not the first time I felt that.
I love their food and other staff are nice and kind, because of the young korean girl, you might lose many customers. She never respects customers, is always upset and talks really aggressively. Talk to her, she has thick eyeliner with color contact lens.
Absolutely, loving this place, been member for nearly 4 years now. I always enjoy the vibe of this place.
The club offers free parking to members and visitors who use club facilities and that includes the restaurant, games room and the sports facilities. Members get a discount on drinks at the bar (yay) but not at the restaurant (boohoo!).
Firstly the bar: beers on tap is quite limited with mainly lighter style of beers, could do with some ipas and have some rotating craft beers to keep the offering fresh. Otherwise service is pretty good at the bar.
As for the restaurant: ordered fried chicken (nice and crunchy and juicy) with a couple of sauces; gangjung (soooo sweet!), Hot and spicy (legit spicy which is good!). Had the bulgogi which was ok, the beef was a little dry for my liking though. And also had the seafood pancake which was ok as well, the batter was a little thick but it was fried well and was crunchy, the amount of seafood on it was lacking compared to other seafood pancakes I've had elsewhere.
Modern, bright clean renovation.great fried chicken! Lots of different flavors and all made well. Family friendly.
A little bit expensive imo but I guess everything is expensive in 2022.
Recommended to try the friend chicken but was a bit suss about good fried chicken being in a sports club.
Now I've Been here twice for the fried chicken and it has never let me down. Prices are average compared to other fried chicken places but worth it.
Good place to visit with children who need the playing area. Good to taste an beautiful original Korean food too.
You can watch any matche with big screen.
Great! X
Good amount of parking, locals need a membership, nice internal layout, food is pretty tasty but a bit pricey, overall good experience
It's a nice place and the food is very nice. Just the service is quite average lately! The restaurant you have to keep chasing staff. I also ordered two beers. One was placed on the counter and the other on the bar side bench. I stood there for a minute while he talked to his mate. Once he realised, he placed the beer on the counter for me. The beer looked a bit down and flat. I asked if he could top it up. He said no, it's just the foam! Hopefully, he's a better covid Marshall than a barman!
18/12/22 The ladies that are now working the bar are great. Huge improvement!
I like this soup (tofu kimchi soup) and they have many chicken favor to try. This place have everything.
Went here to have dinner at the Red Pepper. Be aware that you might need to bring your ID with you while visiting the place.
Futsal ground review
Minimal service, not worth what we pay. Just because it's close to the station the business is running smooth. Can't find the Customer service attendant
This place is what happens when a local club gets taken over by Koreans. Works really well! Amazing food in a casual environment, chicken is great but so is everything else. Lots of soju with beer and other beverages too. A bit of a shame they're so strict with the RSA policies though, we could have got a whole lot looser. On the whole though, great place for a dinner and drinks with friends.
This was one of the worst club I have ever been to. So, racist Korean staffs. I am never going here again and suggest that never ever play with someone’s hard earned money and get specific training to respect customers.
Great place, they've renovated the place. Great for family, friends and work colleagues.
Extensive korean menu from soups, fried chicken to bulgogi.
An excellent experience, COVID safe spacing. Food was delicious and the contactless ordering system works very efficiently. Best part is I live within the zone so I became a member, definitely be back.
Snooker, fried chicken, beer, pokies, soju bombs, fried chicken. And a parking space for members. Not sure if there are any other clubs with this calibre. Oh yes, they have futsal and tennis court for rent. I mean, its just sports
