I recently visited Strathfield Car Radios for a Dashcam installation, and I'm generally satisfied with their work. The installation and Dashcam positioning were well-done, a clean job with all the cables hidden well, and the staff, for the most part, displayed excellent knowledge.

However, I had one interaction with an employee named Joe that left room for improvement. When I asked him a simple question about parking mode, the response that I got was in the lines of ‘figure it out yourself’ which I get in this day and age but it’d have been nice to just get an answer.

Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I appreciate their expertise in Dashcam installation.

I went to accompany my client today, she was enquiring about installing a new audio/rear view camera feature in her car. The staff Jamie who helped us was very helpful & informative.

Joseph was great to deal with. I explained (with my limited knowledge on audio) the problem with the audio on my car. He had me booked in and assured that they would check it out. On the day of the job, Carlo found that my OEM head unit was bad. Another person
rang me up as I had left the premises while the car was being checked and gave very sound advise on which head unit to get based on my needs. Great team, with Carlo being outstanding.

I felt very welcome by Joe he jumped in my car and gave his honest opinion on what I needed for better sound in my Mazda3 also Joe follows a great Italian soccer team.

Thanks Strathfield Car Radios! I had a new Blaupunkt radio and speakers put into my classic 4WD. The team was so good to deal with from when I dropped my car off, phone call to explain a couple of things, and setting up Bluetooth when I came to collect.

I've been wanting to get a dashcam for quite some time. I had a quick look online and found the one I wanted and reached out to Strahfield Car Radios to see if they had it in stock and could install it for me. They booked me in and had everything ready to go when I arrived on the day of the booking.

The frontline staff were pretty great - they were very helpful. They helped me connect to the dashcam via my phone and see how it all worked.this is great for people who many not be tech-savvy or you've picked a camera that isn't very intuitive with its apps.

The install however went a little bad though. I was immediately concerned about the placement of the dashcam though, as it was off-centered by a significant amount. I raised this to the team and they took the car again, back to the installer, to re-seat the camera.

This took another hour.

When I came back for the 2nd time to pick up the car, it seemed my comments to the installer were taken too far and rather than seat everything neatly as it was the first time.ish, it was rushed and it still didn't seem right.

Rather than raising it again, I went home slightly defeated and annoyed.

Strathfield Car Radios requested my feedback the next day via email. I sat on it for a day and drove around again, hoping it would grow on me and I'd 'get over it'. And I did not. It's hard when the issue is staring you in the face when you're driving to and from work.

Later that night, I wrote to them my experience and while most things was fantastic and I was thankful but the installation left me feeling off and that I was now looking around to pay someone else to reseat the cameras. Send.

And that was it. I had expected not to hear back from them but it seems these guys are persistent (in a good way).

Joseph rang me and said he read my lengthy feedback and that based on it, they wanted to sort it out. I offered to take my car in and Joseph declined, and instead offered to send a gentlemen named Chris out to my home to sort it all out to save me the hassle of driving back in and waiting around.and boy, did Chris sort it out.

Chris came out a day later, early in the morning and had it all sorted within 20 minutes.

Joseph and Chris turned a 'meh' experience into a 5-star experience by simply acknowledging the feedback and going above and beyond to sort it out.if this is how they operate, then I can safely say give them a go. If anything it proves the old saying that people do make mistakes, it's how they go about sorting it out that defines them.

Well, based on that. 5 stars all the way, Joseph and team!

I bought a Kenwood DMX820WS head-unit from Strathfield Car Radios through eBay and installed it myself. Their pricing was really competitive, accurate description of unit and super quick delivery. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have no complaints.

I recently had a great experience with Strathfield Audio, as I updated my headset and added CarPlay in my Subaru Forester.

We were assisted by Jamie who was excellent from the moment we entered the store to when we drove off. Jamie walked us diligently through all options even though there were multiple customers around and it was a busy day.

He then even fit out installation in on the same day.
