I'm thrilled with the exceptional service I received at Stitches Clothing Alterations. I was worried about altering my expensive velvet dress, but Ketty's skillful work surpassed all expectations. The dress looks amazing, her work is amazing and I cant even tell my dress had been altered, I couldn't be happier. I'll definitely return for future alterations.

Turned up for my appointment. She isn’t home and when I phone her she says “sorry I forgot”.
I now have to look elsewhere to get my
Wedding dress alterations done. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate of other people’s time.

I has another appointment to attend to that day so could not wait any longer. First on the phone you said you forgot about the appointment then you said "oh and my mother is sick" but your mother answered the door when I went to your home. So if you had said you had forgotten and apologised that's one thing, but you are a liar and I do not do business with liars.

Tried to get in touch with this business, I addressed her with a hello and a thank you and received a blunt text back with only her location. I replied back asking for more details and was completely ignored, I messaged again and was ignored AGAIN, my text was left on “read. ” She says in other review she prides herself on her customer service, lol.

Ketty is absolutely amazing. I called her the day before my wedding to see if she could alter my reception after party dress. Ketty saved the day! Not only did she take up the hem and sleeves but she took it in around the waist turning the dress into a perfectly fitted dream! This work was done within 4 hours - she really went above and beyond.

I went with this business for my daughters formal dress alterations because of all the good reviews but ended up having a horrible experience.

First Ketty claimed there was a mark on the dress and wanted to charge me for the dry cleaning, then the alterations she made started coming apart and I had to take it back to her to get re-done 2 days before the formal. Then the hem was so horribly done that I could have done better myself.

When I took it back to her to get the hem fixed, she admitted she had rushed it to have the dress dry cleaned and claimed the dry cleaning itself had made the hem fray.

I am so disappointed at the state of my daughters $400 dress and the alterations/hem were definately not worth the $140 that I paid. I was left with a dress that is very badly altered and no time left to have it fixed again as the formal was the next day.

Then to top it off, the alterations started coming undone again when my daughter wore it on her formal night! I can't believe that someone who claims to be a reputable business would ruin such an expensive dress at such last minute, giving me no time to take it elsewhere to be fixed and it will be impossible to sell it now in the condition it was left.

I do not recommend this business to anyone.

I needed my 2 year olds suit jacket altered for a wedding where he was page boy and the jacket turned out so well! So happy with how it looked and would go through Ketty again.

I needed an urgent alteration to be done on a formal dress and gave Ketty a call. She was so lovely, the service was so fast and just what I wanted. I highly recommend this business!
