Four people ordered the same burger, and they all agreed it was delicious.
In my impression, the bartending was good, but the decoration outside the door was very creative, making it feel like something out of Harry Potter.

What a nice surprise.friendly staff, great drink options and well priced.we'll be back

From the street, you walk through a wooden panel swinging door, down some stairs and will see a bar serving cocktails. Music isn’t too loud so you can have a conversation with your friends over food and drinks

Had one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried here… ‘The Nutty Affair’ was brilliant and the friendly and warm service from Shelby was top notch and made our night. This bar must be in your list for any good bar hopping around York and Clarence street. The Negroni with the sugar syrup lollipop is to die for!

Cool, very cool, like a better version of the Caretaker in Auckland NZ. Fantastic service. But quite pricey which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone and they certainly earn charging the premium so with what they’ve done with the place, just won’t be a regular for me

Service very helpful. Had called ahead, mentioned we were looking forward to the ribs we saw online, there aren't any ribs though. Ordered lamb burgers instead. They were tasty. Vibe was cool with old singer sewing machines everywhere.

Always enjoyed coming back here, service is always the best and amazing cocktails. Little disappointed with the food, I was looking forward to the hot wings but it came out a little cold: (

I love it, the drinks and snaks are very good and Madam O reading was beyond my expectations, she is really good.

Wonderful place for drinks and snacks. Great vibes! Friendly and efficient staffs. Entrance is very discreet, could be easily missed, but fun to find!

All in all, the venue itself was probably the best part. The food was good, though the menu itself left something to be desired, as did the cocktail list. However, the staff were more than welcoming, and the venue was an experience

The concept of the bar is great and the cocktails are amazing. However we did order 2 drinks only to receive them half an hour later after we had to check up on them as they were forgotten by the staff. The food was limited but good. I’m not in a rush to go back but it’s still worth a try if you haven’t been

What a great night out! The staff where really friendly and so helpful. Antonio in particular was so accommodating in organising a beautiful dining spot for us and looking after us, The music was awesome as were the cocktails and the food! Thank you for making such a memorable evening!

Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. Had a really nice night and Madame O's tarot reading was fun! I went early Monday and it was pretty lively! The wine and cocktails are great. I wish they had paper menus though.maybe I'm just old-fashioned haha

Popular little bar but always a heap of fun. Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails. Food always looks and smells great but we normally go in for drinks. Funky little speakeasy, always love visiting when in the city.

Awesome little spot! Delicious cocktails and chilled vibes. Only issue was WiFi/reception wasn't good due to the underground location and area of the venue we were seated at.

Nice welcome at top of stairs to start with, then met at bottom of stairs and taken to our table.
Good atmosphere, good music where you can still have a conversation; staff warm and friendly. Good choice of drinks incl an Old Fashioned whisky and cocktails.
Lamb brisket burger was awesome, as were the jalapeno poppers. Been here a few times and it always delivers a good night, will be back again.
