I was promised to get a receipt when i donated 2 years ago but never received any proof or even email confirmation. Don't know where my money went.

With a number of initiatives in place like their Starlight Express Rooms, Livewire, Starlight Day and more, Starlight have done some amazing things and I've been lucky enough to see it with my own eyes. Not only was I an adolescent who was able to take advantage of some of their in and out of hospital programmes but I'm now lucky enough to be volunteering with them and my opinion has not changed. Seeing first hand what Starlight does for sick children and their families is incredible. It's so important to remember that these young patients are still kids and deserve a positive livelihood, and Starlight provides that and more.

Terribly run organisation.
We decided to move our charitable contributions to another cause towards the end of last year, my partner sent several emails and has made numerous phone calls to get the automatic transfer cancelled.
We have received no response and the direct debit continues.
If they are this inefficient with client services I can only image how bad they are at managing our money.

Recently I volunteered for Starlight at Vivid, it was really fun and challenging at the same time. Rebecca, Kristen and the other starlight staff members are very supportive and kind - making my experience all the more enjoyable.

To fully understand the wonderful work of Starlight Childrens Foundation you need to talk to the families of those children who have been admitted to hospital with a serious illness. The hospital experience for a child can be confusing, painful, terrifying and lonely. The Starlight Captains entertain and distract children when they most need to remember laughter and happiness. I am very proud to be a small part of a fabulous team.
