29The worst hospital took my son in around 4.00 pm and left the next day at 11am during this time they didn't even know what was wrong with him he had a covid test a sugar test blood test xray test and nothing showing each doctor tells you something diffrent im telling you this system is business when it comes to Medicare they take that advantage of it
Mandatory reporting puts vulnerable at risk of DCj, Facs interference. Ask the doctors not untrained strangers.
5 stars for Ward 1, in particular nurse Helen, and the anthesthetic team who were extremely caring and made me at ease for my first ever surgery yesterday.
Nurse Helen was compassionate, informative and supportive at one of the worst times in my life.
She is worth her weight in gold and deserves a pay raise!
Thank you Nurse Helen, Ward 1 and surgery team. Xx
Mandatory reporting puts vulnerable at risk of Facs interference. Consider knowledge of doctors.
A big Thank you to the Birthing unit they were so amazing and Susan from the Xray dept was the a real gem.
Just had our 5 year old son with a broken arm at the kids ward. Such incredible and friendly staff, so patient with the kids. And so caring. Cant speak highly enough about the level of care given to us especially during such a stressful time. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at 1 East ward for looking after our munchkin!
Sister took her daughter for a covid test.after 4 days without results she was finally told her test had been lost and now has to go through all of it again. Not the level of competence you want to see when dealing with a health crisis. Very unprofessional.
Very good experience at kid's emergency and ward. Very professional, carrying, knowagable. We were admitted quickly and my toddler was looked after very well.

Awesome team of staff saved my child's life from a staph infection! Did Not receive the infection from the hospital. The whole team were incredible. Thank you so much!

All I have to say is that I almost cry thinking of this place. Worst mental health system ever.
Very very bad operator of booking deparment.first of all very bad attitude even you talk to them nicely!
second of all very very impatience.they even wont listen to you to finish talking and just interrupt you rudely and speak louder then you just for making you shut up.
All the idiots complaining about waiting don't know what its like to work a day in the hospital.
The Reception staff was so rude. I was having a bad chest pain & she came at my bed to take money & was so rude that I didn’t pay them at reception. (I wasn’t running away anywhere without paying them) Nurses took my blood samples but didn’t send them to lab for test for 3 hrs & after that doctor came and asked them they realised that they didn’t send the blood samples to lab. I won’t recommend this Hospital to anyone coz they really don’t care about your life. I am not blaming doctors. Only nurses and reception staff is awful, totally unprofessional.
Hopeless to come here in the emergency.my wife was fell down on the floor and fainted I took her to emergency and they cant even sit nor open her eyes.still they gave a bottle for urine test and told us to stay that there is 4 patient before us.and funny thing is that a counter lady ask us to show identity after we showed her our Medicare card.a big racism.middle finger for that lady.sitting on the counter.
We are hopeless with Doctor services its been a year we are encounter with her this stomach pain problem.thwy just give us a buscopan and petntroprazol. Now we are heading to overseas that we can do our medication. I suggest not to go st George specially. I heard this is not a hospital for us I found its true.
Great ICU and I was well looked after for the first week then they move you to a ward where you have different nurses everyday who do not know your needs, meds are forgotten and when you buzz to remind them they don’t believe you, no security and patients who are not meant to leave can easily just walk out without anyone caring or noticing
After an 18 day stay, including 9 in Cardiac ICU, am being discharged this morning.
Post triple bypass, lung collapse, heart zapped and few other treatments I cannot wait to get home.
A big thank you to my Surgeon Gary Fermanis on his skills and job well done.
The hospital staff in all sectors especially 5 South have been simply amazing. They showed patience, were very attentive, demonstrated empathy and kindness and I cannot praise them highly enough.
Much love, respect and a heartfelt thank you to one and all.

I am very grateful my father received a bed and received good treatment coming through Emergency. I am also thankful they let me visit him after visiting hours. Thanks St George Hospital!
Wonderful staff, fantastic new facilities and professional from start to finish. The day surgery facility surpassed the private hospital.
