I recently visited your store and wanted to share my disappointing experience. My intention in visiting was to purchase a few items for my best friend, who is leaving Australia soon. However, I was deeply disturbed by the racist behavior exhibited by your shop assistant, a blond lady with blunt bangs. She was unequivocally racist towards Asians while I was still present in the store. During my visit, my friendly greetings were ignored, and throughout my shopping process, there was not only a lack of assistance but also a noticeable display of impatience. However, I observed that she willingly approached few other customers with their apparent non-Asian appearance browsing similar items, offering assistance, introducing products, and actively engaging in friendly greetings and displays of friendliness. I find it hard to believe that a souvenir shop located at The Rocks, a place considered one of the popular tourist attractions in Sydney, would openly display such racist behavior towards Asians by one of your staff members.

We loved Squidinki gallery/shop and definitely recommend a visit. Max’s take on life made us laugh - his imaginative, witty prints, cards and ceramics are unique reminders of Sydney

Beautiful and very unique artworks. Very friendly staff. Can't think of a better souvenir to take home from Sydney.

Seriously just go to this shop and pick yourself up some unique and amazing artwork. Max's creativity and playful spirit shines in all his work. Just really enjoyed visiting and learning about his inspiration for the pieces we chose. Will be returning before we head back home to grab up some fun coffee mugs (Morning coffee will always remind us of Australia now) to complement the prints we selected. Thank you Max for being such genuine spirit and wish you the best!

We stumbled on this lovely gallery after visiting the contemporary art museum and we thought the art here was 10 times better. The artist was at the shop and we had a wonderful time chatting with him. Plenty of unique Australian- themed gift ideas like mugs wall art etc. A must visit

We found this place by chance and we’re so glad that we did, because we loved everything about it! Max was an absolute delight to chat to and learn more about how he gets his ideas, and his art is just stunning! I bought multiple pieces to remember my life in Australia by after I move away soon, and I hope to one day be able to commission him for a large custom piece of my own!

Playing tourists in our backyard (Sydney) and we found a quirky, whimsical and fun art gallery at The Rocks. We met the owner/artist and had a great conversation and found the stories/inspiration behind his works.

What caught our eye as we walked by was the print of a Ferry on heels. Ferrys-heel? I forgot the name of the artwork, but it did make me giggle.

Best to go in the gallery and checkout some of the art. It made our day. We even bought a gift for ourselves and another for a family member.

Best and funniest art gift shop in Sydney.
