Springwood Aquatic and Fitness Centre

Lovely staff who are helpful. They always have a life guard on duty. Just make sure to check when classes are on if you want to swim laps. Has discounts for seniors. Can do gym and pool or just one of them. I go to swim laps. Clean, well maintained and also indoors so you don’t have to put sunscreen on. Backs out to a grassy area and gum trees. Has a kids play area and pool. Would recommend

The pool is great but gym etiquette needs to be enforced. Every time I have been here somebody has there towel or water bottle on the equipment I want to use while they are using another piece of equipment.

I went with some friends and the kids had a great time and that's all that matters.

Very nice public swimming centre.
The centre has a sauna, water slide, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Indoors pool which is good for when the weather is colder.

Great for the kids.no diving at all in any of the pools is a bit a cotton wool council policy though.

Friendly staff. Nice indoor pool. Just wish it was larger & had more swimming lanes. Can get crowded, even in "off peak" times.

- Centre operation is impractical. Shutting down the children's pool in the afternoons, despite it frequently being full of children, only to move them to the adjacent pool and making social distancing impossible

Very welcoming staff, trainers, etc. I found the rpm and sprint classes to be really great with a strong sense of support. Swimming in the morning is a great experience and the showers are always hot!

Lovely ambience with bush all around and seen while swimming. G8T Kids pool and Medium 1.3M pool (heaps of pool 'toys' on hand, and Lap pool. ALL heated with chill taken out of water! Good close parking and easy to find off the Highway! 9/10

Lovely pool facilities. Other families don't adhere to covid distancing and dump their belongs next to us and stand around.

Laura was so beautiful with the kids in swimming lessons. My son refused to go to his last teacher at our old pool every week, it was such a battle, but he went straight to Laura and loved his lessons.

My daughter loves her swimming lessons so much that she asks about it all week. Thankyou to her swimming teacher

To the old lady that works the front desk this Saturday afternoon 20/2/21 wouldn’t let my younger sister in (age 12) not *15, I remember her being able to go in Alone at 8-1. Why has the same lady aloud the same aged people to go into the pool (12 years and younger). This lady has brought tears to my little sisters eyes a numbers of times. There is no consistency with these *rules*. I understand that this seem insignificant to most people but as this pool is right around the corner from our house and not everyone in my family drives and we all work it is extremely hard to travel.

Saturday afternoon 20th of feb at 3: 30 my sister and her 2 friends (they are all 13 years old) were refused entry because they are not accompanied by an adult. They have been let in on multiple occasions for years and there hasn’t been a problem except for when one staff member has been working. This pool is very convenient to where we live and is a great place for my younger sister to meet up safely with friends and have a few good hours of fun, it’s very unfortunate that this one staff member has on multiple occasions made my sister cry and feel that she is not welcome.

I find that the inconsistency of allowing children in is obvious, my sisters friends (who are also 13) were let into the pool by a completely different staff member a week earlier. I think they need to have a chat with their staff about these *rules* that they enforce and make sure that all the staff are in complete understanding as it has made these young kids quite distressed that they could not have a fun time at the pool and enjoy a swim on a hot day.

Very nice gym as I have gone for many months now, with very nice staff and great equipment. 10/10

Nice place pretty clean but wish the heated pool was warmer! Most times I get in its pretty cold.

Taking on a new over 65's strength training class with Sarah starting next week. Looking forward to it.

Can't comment on the pool as i haven't used it, The gym is adequate but could use some improvement. The area for stretching and mat work has been moved to an even smaller space than it was already in. I think it's also quite expensive considering the small size, limited machines and how busy it gets.

Love this centre. The facilities are always so clean, the staff and instructors always have time for you. Its got that small country feel to the gym. Im glad I joined up.

Great kids area and good sized pool. The big doors that open up on hot days are fantastic, definitely makes it nice on a hot day. The price was also very reasonable for just a visit with kids.
