Spotlight Tamworth

So disappointed. This store was so dirty. Staff walked over rubbish on the floor, carpet hadn't been vaccuumed for a long time. The stock is so disorganised. First time I have walked out without purchasing anything. I bought wooden letters at another shop for $8 and they had there's priced at $36.

Took my 2 grandchildren to Spotlight gave them a trolley each.fill up and I will pay they had a ball.this was a birthday present.understanding staff.very courteous.

So not only did my 2 year old son and I get attacked in the carpark by a swooping magpie, but when I reported it to the workers, they knew and weren't prepared to do anything about it. (Like how hard is it to print a sign and put it somewhere visable)

Then, to top the experience off the actual store was a complete pig sty. No clear walkways, no staff to speak to, stock all over the place and just generally unkempt.

Highly recommend making the trip to Armidale spotlight instead where it is tidy and staff actually respond to you

If I could give this place zero stars I would.
The service here is disgraceful. Went in there twice today and was sold the wrong item even though I’d explained what I was after.
Zero smiles or greetings from all staff including teenage staff.
Things must be bad when they don’t even smile or provide basic customer service.
Pick up your game. Appalling!

Very helpful staff over the phone, for distance shopping to track down the last piece I needed to complete a project.

I'm sorry but.arrived behind a person having a problem. That was ok spent about ten mins, looking about for "click and collect" sign, nope not visible from first cashier. She said to go to the next one, I did. Same deal but more people. Mess everywhere, ppl waiting, waited about 10 mins again to be told no go to the click and collect at back of store. Guys just a simple sign visible up near the front, there are so many mounds of cushions and stuff about, no way a person could see the Click and Collect sign at the other end of the warehouse/shop. There is a lovely guy working there, but brother its a schmozzle. Also girl on Click and Collect sweet. But never I was twenty minutes in there on a click and collect! A big sign would save a lot of time!

You can buy the products that you want and save money at the same time!

Pricing on items is appalling Either non existent or incorrect
Staff is quite apathetic especially at checkout. Shop gives the appearance of no one caring. Most sections are very untidy. Spotlight use to be a pleasure to visit.

Checkout operator is not very friendly or helpful. She asked if I wanted a bag but did not pack my items into it. I thought this was standard customer service. She just handed me a receipt and left me to it.

Have been going to this store for a while now and am still waiting for them to get everything organised. Just walking in there gives me anxiety because of the mess everywhere

Typical Spotlight. Hardest part is getting in to park. You may be able to enter off Peel heading towards town. For the car park there is a sign which says no entry when it should read no exit or be labelled exit only.
My advice is go round the back. à

Coles Northgate is not a good place to shop now, lots of things you can't get. Too many people shop there now with all the new houses built in the area. Needs a new shopping centre at Moore Creek

Always difficult to find items & staff never to be found when searching for a particular item - truly frustrating.

Spotlight is so disappointing nowadays! Dirty litter scattered floors greet you and you need to navigate through stock in the aisles. My Mum-in-law and I went in to purchase an ironing board cover - which was a great price at $5.50.
We proceeded to the checkout at the front of the store - the sales assistant scanned the article and said "$30.50". I said "no, it's only $5.50". She snapped back with "well that's what it scanned". I said "no that's not right". She picked up the phone and requested a price check and told us (ordered us) to move to the side so she could serve the next customer.
A minute or two later she called us over and said "$5.50". No sorry for the incorrect pricing. I know it was not her fault, but it was her attitude and total lack of customer service.
I worked at that front register in Spotlight many years ago. We were taught to respect the customer. At the very least I would have apologised for the error the scanner had made and thanked the customer for their patience whilst the problem was being sorted.

Ok, people quite helpful, just could do with a tidy sometimes. Doesn't have all their lines, as is called a 'smaller' store

The staff at Spotlight Tamworth have been SO incredible! As someone who is incredibly green to my new lesions and hobbies I have been assisted with excellence and knowledge that far exceeds my own. I feel safe to ask questions and get the help necessary. The service, outside it’s professionalism, is also just wonderfully friendly and interested and remembers their customers. I’m checked in on regularly about my projects when I come in and I get the best deals being a VIP member. The savings are worth the free membership and the community that the store develops is to be commended. I don’t usually review chain stores or franchises but Spotlight Tamworth deserves the recognition. The people who work here care.

The staff were very helpful and engaging, a great range of crafting delights, materials, and decorations. I loved the range of Halloween Decorations. I was in Halloween Heaven, I was seeking a couple of items for my decorating display and Spotlight had exactly what I needed. I will definitely be looking at Spotlight again when seeking out the things I require!

Covid safe protocol in place, plenty to choose from, need to have prices on ALL items, makes it easier for customers

Staff have always been friendly and helpful and there is such a great range of products and always something on special, love Spotlight

Staff at service desk was lovely but the isles are over crowded and trying to manuever a wheel chair or pram in these isles is merely impossible. We found there was very little assistance on the floor.
