52I would say this is a pretty standard spotlight store. Well stocked but cluttered (as all spotlight stores are). Staff are friendly
Bought 2 items from there. 1x30cm strap got charged for 3m! When I tried to get my money back had to re-line back up. (being short staffed didn’t help, every line was chokers with shoppers). Other item broke as soon as we used it, to far to drive back to wait and queue to ask about product.
If there was less than 1star you would have it. More staff would be appreciated by shoppers queuing for excess amount of time is not fun for anyone, especially if other shoppers have kids.
Did a click and collect order for 4 frames, picked them up and had a look over them in the car - 2 were damaged. Went back in to get the 2 damaged frames replaced and the woman at the counter asked me if there was stock on the shelves and to go and get replacements. Why could you just not pack undamaged goods for me? Would you have posted broken frames? Bizarre.
Tried calling three times. Phone was answered the first time, then hung up on during transfer. Second time I was attempted to be transferred, then the phone rang out after waiting for 10 minutes. Third time my call was answered then hung up on straight away. I purchased one product online, paid for it, only to receive an email the next day stating Spotlight was unable to fulfill my order. This place is a joke and clearly understaffed! Don’t advertised your products Spotlight as ‘On Sale’, when no store between the Central Coast and Coffs Harbour has any!
Sadly so much out of stock! Everything seems permanently on " sale " so you cant use the "gift vouchers" they send you as sale items are excluded. Disappointing. Used to be a good store with genuine offers.
I don’t like to post negative reviews, but the only time I do is when I’m very disappointed with not only customer service but also the product.
1. On 2 occasions I went to the counter with my item and was charged literally $100 more! Why?
Because the same item (multiple items) were placed/listed under the wrong price tag.
I was told it was MY fault and no discount was applied and no empathy was displayed knowing that their OWN items were incorrectly displayed.
2. I got blinds done in my first own home and there were large spaces between the installed blinds in the bedrooms.
Installer didn’t respond to my message regarding this and the person who came and took the measurements (debbie) was only in defence mode and only acting In The best interest of spotlight!
I now have to spend more money to purchase curtains because there’s is still light shining in my eyes every morning.
So disappointing!
I had no idea the gaps would be so big! I was not advised and I would have selected the one blind instead of the 2.
Waited 1/2 hour to get served. Told to go to another counter waited another 20 mins. Grumpy service and was overcharged. Grrrr
Service exemplary. Girls so helpful. Store sooo tidy and neat. Love going there, even when I'm spending money I don't need to. I think I have more yarn than you do.
Wondering range of things. Good specials if you are a member, free to sign up and you get a 10 off voucher- only valid when you spend 50.
Had the wait a while at checkout as only on person was on. But the lady was very nice.
What a great visit to Spotlight Bennetts Green. Found everything I need plus a few other goodies I didn't need but all well lol.
Great store lay out with things well signed and prices clearly shown. Staff were friendly and did not wait very long at all at the registers as 3 operators were serving.
The lady at the fabric section was amazing, I walked in with my partner to do a DIY curtain board thing for my odd shaped windows and had no idea what fabric I needed etc and she was so helpful!
Easy parking and access. Lots of stock missing, hopefully shipping freight will speed up in the new year
Could spend forever in here. Just a bit sad on the limited button choices. Nothing like old stores where there was so much more variety and you could buy the amount of buttons you need. Now if you need 7 buttons you HAVE to buy two packs of 6! Not Spotlights fault though.
Love the store and the different odds and ends you can get. Always leave with more than I intended!

This store has a huge variety of materials that I've never seen at other Spotlights. It's a little out of the way to get there so I make it worth my while to buy up on those specialty prints.
Only complaint is that they need more than one counter for material purchases as the line circled around quite a few aisles.
Staff very attentive & helpful & professional, great range of stock only fault some isles a bit over loaded still worth the visit
Tried to call 4 times - waited on hold for 20 mins and cut off after being transferred. Rang back and constantly cut off.
At first I thought it was because it was me - an older white male in a shop staffed by women - women who were curt, grumpy, and appeared unhappy. When I discussed it with my wife, she assured me she had seldom come across a pleasant, helpful staff member here - the complete opposite of her experience in other Spotlight stores. Do the recruitment criteria need revising, or does management treat the staff badly? My advice: avoid this store if you can - Rutherford isn't that far away!
Staff are nice, fabric range is getting better and better, there’s lots to explore. My only issue is that I’m always stuck waiting in line for a long time because there’s never enough staff at the cutting counter.
The staff were unfriendly on the phone and lacked the care required to actually want to help. Lack of stock too.
