Spotlight Dubbo reviews
66Very poor customer service, not enough staff considering it was a Black Friday sale day. I ended up leaving the store without a purchase.
Wide assortment of homewares and Manchester. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices for quality goods especially when sales are on.
Lovely variety with special items for almost any application and style. Most staff are very helpful.
Was impressed with the older lady at the checkout today. A very rude customer gave her an undeserved hard time with swearing but the staff member did not retaliate and sort to be helpful.
I frequent this place a lot, but it's my wife who absolutely loves this store, I'm just the packhorse!
Spotlight is much better with the recent make over of craft and material sections but staff are getting ruder as they try and keep up with demand but have so few of them.
It's spotlight and they sell all the usual spotlight stuff. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Good location and plenty of parking.
As an update I will give an extra star. Their already good service seems to have improved a little. The lady that served me was keen to make sure I got what I needed even though she was out of her usual department and my purchase was small.
Great variety of products but I feel checkout service slow due to lack of staff available.
Real crafting addiction here- so this store doesn't help with that! Lol However, they are able to provide me pretty much with everything I need to satiate my need to craft! Pricing is as expected for specialty products but it's much simpler then ordering online and I can get what I need without waiting so convenience is worth it. Staff are helpful and if they don't know something, will find someone who does! I love this store!
My happy place. Always out to score a bargain. Bought a sewing machine & overlocker. Love the material section.
I love visiting Spotlight although I can never find help from a staff member when I need it. Employ more workers Spotlight.
Online ordered early one morning for click and collect and the order was ready just minutes after the store opened. Fantastic service
They have a wide range of products, including sewing supplies, kitchen supplies, bedding, craft supplies and curtains
Click and collect was ready for me right away. If you live out of town, this service is the best.
As always Spotlight has most crafts covered. Great array of materials. Wools for knitting and crochet. Sheets, pillows and blankets. Lots of scrapbooking elements. Party products etc.
I am a bloke that was dragged around the shop. I gave a 4 for the service the girls give at Dubbo.
Click and collect was ready for me right way. If you live out of town, this service is the best.
The prices are a lot of the time wrong they need to keep up with price changes staff always friendly
My Mother in law recently purchased a heavy duty Singer sewing machine from this store which failed in the first 5 days and she has been waiting for them to "repair" it for over 2 weeks. Her small business, making bags, that provides a modest income which she relies on, has been forced on hold while she waits for this repair to take place.
I am amazed that a store as large as spotlight is prepared to hold this line rather than refund or replace the faulty goods that they have provided.
I would warn anyone planning to purchase goods, in particular sewing machines to carefully check with the spotlight staff that you may have to return faulty goods to what their policy is regarding faulty goods and how they assess or evaluate the failure.
If the problem does not amount to a major failure it is stated that a repair or replacement will be offered
The policy states that faulty goods will be replaced or refunded on assessment by the store for a major failure.
Either the staff need to learn the policy or the management need to teach them what it is.
I will be pursuing this with both fair trading and the accc.
Rude staff. MULTIPLE items priced incorrectly, when confronted about this they refused to do anything except insist it was other staff fault and claim being undertrained. Not helpful when asked for locations of items.
Poor, poor service. Very unhappy with this store and specific staff members
