Has almost everything you need and more. Sadly they're becoming the victim of driving more profits as staff were rare as hens teeth when you needed help.

We just got served by the amazing Klara! What a joy and easy process! Calm, confident with a genuine care that left me feeling ready to conquer the day! A big transaction aswell! I was nervous but there was no worries to be had with Klara around! Thank you Klara!

The manager is outright rude. Shows know empathy and probably sick of her job. Will not return. Denied assistance with return.

Love spotlight I find it relaxing walking around, looking at different ideas. Sales people are always helpful. Worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of dealing with the friendliest sales assistant, Klara, who simply went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth shopping experience. I will definitely choose to shop at this Spotlight location because of this one staff member and her professional, kind & helpful attitude. Thank you again!

From the moment I first interacted with employee Estelle it was clear that she was not only knowledgeable and skilled in her field, but also incredibly professional and personable.

Estelle went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and my questions were answered. She were patient, attentive, and always made me feel like a priority. Her communication was prompt and clear, and they took the time to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand. She is a great asset to the spotlight team.

Wow incredibly rude staff named Sarah, constantly giving me attitude. I have never been treated that poorly. I understand not everyone loves their job but please don’t hire people who absolutely hate dealing with customers and answering the most simple of questions.

Lots of pretty fabrics! You can pretty much get anything you need for a sewing project here. Staff was also lovely.

I've never been to a spotlight store in my life so I had absolutely no idea about anything. Every employee acted like I was invisible and couldn't give me the time of day. The only reason I'm giving a 5 star rating is that one employee named Sammy was amazing and could sense I had no idea what I was after. She took me from section to section and make sure I got all that I needed. She's am asset to this business and all the other employees should hang their heads in shame.

I ordered my bathroom curtains 20/21 I still have no updates what is happening and to make things worse I have rung every day twice a day. They never return my calls. I actually left a message on there asking for a discount after 6 months waiting. But if you read the contract they are not responsible for any delays. (Acts of god War Civil commotion on and on. But we have respected that there is delays due to covid and other circumstances. But at least have common courtesy to return peoples calls.

I paid $1500 for "Made 2 Measure" curtains. The whole cost is paid upfront. When they arrived, about eleven weeks later, they were soiled.

For the next two months we have been unable to get a clear plan from Spotlight about the status of the curtains and what we can expect. The staff mean well but are incompetent. So far the staff we have dealt with have explained that since they are "sending emails" to the curtain manufacturing team interstate that there is nothing else they can do. The store manager is also aware. It took about seven phone calls for her to return our call however.

We have also complained to the general Spotlight general enquiries line with no response.

I deeply regret ever doing business here. It has been a stressful, costly and time-consuming process with no curtains to show for it. Four months later we still do not have curtains, are down $1500 and have no idea what the next steps are.

I was so excited that a Spotlight was opening in the local area. The location is easily accessible with ample parking. The layout of the shop makes it easy to navigate (for the most part). A lot of effort appears to have been put into ensuring the environment is tidy and organised.

Unfortunately, this is where my positive experience with Spotlight Alexandria ends. As a regular customer at the store for both small business and personal reasons (fabric mostly), I am becoming very hesitant to purchase from this particular location.

A certain staff member in this department with blonde hair is possibly one of the rudest individuals I’ve ever come across. She literally scolds customers and I’ve personally experienced this more than once.

On one occasion she was questioning me over marked down fabric, which had faults throughout it (as stated on the tag). Another occasion, a friendly and accommodating staff member allowed me to take 8 empty rolls to put fabric on (each 8 metres a piece) that I’d purchased in the last week. I’ve spent thousands at this store/online over the last year. After lecturing me she then went off to no doubt berate her poor, accommodating fellow team member.

Customers shouldn’t be treated as impositions. The customer service here is just not it. I’d encourage Spotlight to look into who they hire and review their behaviour because this individual is a liability for your company and I’m confident I’m not the only person who has experienced this abrasive attitude.

I suppose it is fine, even great, if you are into that sort of guff.
But my brain nearly shuts down every time the wife makes me endure the trial that is an hour there.

Staff service is pathetic specifically in Alexandria. Looks like they are not willing to help and service customer. Rude and bad attitude.
Called them to hold product with my name which they confirmed and upon arrival after travelling 40km got to know they sold the product to someone else. Similar issue Happened three times
