7I loved this interesting place which was the start of the bobbin head loop walk for us we turned left to fire trail to marina then came back up the stairs to the right at the sphinx intersection. I am still trying to figure out what the cross in front of the Sphinx is for

It was a great experience to witness a monument that was built by a soldier. It was educational and to think something like that could be achieved by a solidarity soldier. It was overwhelming

Interesting WW1 Memorial just inside the entrance of Kuringi Chase National Park. Memorial needs a bit of work but it’s interesting and worth a look. The entrance to the loop walk to Bobbin Head is nearby.
