56 Very poor products and customer service. I bought a pair of glasses from them from a well-known brand. After about 1 year, the frame broke while I was wearing it (possibly the lens was not cut properly to match the frame and frame was under extra pressure. I returned it to the shop and was advised that this break is not under warranty without any furtherexplanation. The frame is not hit and just snapped by itself.
Will never buy glasses from them.
Great service. Very quick but thorough appointment. Didn’t feel like I was being upsold anything when selecting frames and all costs involved were transparent. Lovely staff and a great optometrist. Would recommend
A special mention to Lola today who was incredibly professional and treated my 8year old with the same respect as an adul. The experience made him feel very special!
I first met Angus. He was friendly and professional. I then had my eyes thoroughly tested by Livia, (not a straight forward test with my eyes unfortunately. I have some complications). Nonetheless, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and I left the store with complete confidence my eyes will be fine.
Really love my new reading glasses, very expertly fitted and they were at a great price. Love the new shop at Top Ryde.

Every time I go to Specsavers at Top Ryde, the customer service is very friendly and welcoming. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Whether I go in for an eye examination, to choose frames or pick up completed orders, it's a breeze and no issues, staff are always very helpful.
Making and changing appointments online is incredibly convenient and very easy to do.
If I had anything negative, it is with the Audiology. A couple of times I went in for a hearing test, however the noise from the showroom is very distracting. The last time i was in there, a staff member entered the room with me and was working in there and typing on the computer as well. The room is extremely small and between the showroom noise and the staff member it was extremely distracting. I mentioned it to the staff who took me in, however I still received an email saying I had a slight hearing problem and I don't think that it should have been sent to me.

And the young gentleman with the glasses who’d assisted me with my glasses fittings, you’re so sweet, kind and helpful. This store is very lucky to have you assisting their customers, really impressed. I’ll return again next year for sure:)
Amazing service!
My partner had an eye emergency on a Sunday afternoon close to 4pm. We need to see an optometrist without an appointment.
We rang many different places and all the answers were " sorry you need an appointment and our optometrist is leaving soon. "
Before we gave up we thought let's try one more place Top Ryde Specsaver and we were blow away by their service
. From the receptionist to the optometrist Sarah Wang, their professionalism is top-notch. Not only got us in right before their closing time, Sarah resolved the problem in no time. After a thorough check of both eyes, she found a small piece of metal and removed it from his left eye.
I can't thank you enough for everything they have done for us!

I went for an eye check up with Sarah wang and have to say she was the best optometrist I have ever been to see, wasn't pushy, wasn't trying to sell glasses for the sake of a sale, did a lot of checking and confirmed what I thought I knew prior to my appointment, felt valued as a patient and not just another number walking through a door.
Refreshing to see staff in a bigger name store treat people as a human!
Once the eye test was complete, Angus helped me pick out some prescription Sun glasses, gave good advice and again made me feel welcome in the store.
If all the staff is as good as Sarah and Angus, I see no point in going elsewhere.
I had my eye test with Adrene and chose my glasses with Sev.
Both were really helpful and professional
I went there based on recomendations from my GP, the service was good. So I booked eye checkup for my son too. Surprisingly, the doc said vision was perfect and suggested to get sunglasses as it is covered under insurance. When I saw the report, it was prescription glasses. My son did not have any glasses nor did his vision had any defect, but still the doc did writeup prescription glasses to sell sunglassess. My son is only 9 and my family does not have any history of glasses. Specsavers is only interested in selling glasses, they are not interested in your eye health. Go there if you absolutely must but think twice before finalising any glasses, get a second opinion and if you can see perfectly, dont see any doc.

The worst experience ever, staff doesn’t know what’s going on, I ordered contact lenses, for more than 2 weeks they not sure what’s happening, every visit they promised will be ready in 3 days and nothing happens, not sure where is the confusion but clearly staff are not trained enough and not honest
From booking the appointment through to picking up my prescription glasses, the process with extremely smooth and well organised. I booked online via the website and was provided with a thorough eye test, upon finishing the eye test I was shown the different glasses and by no means was I pushed to buy expensive glasses, I was given the choice of inexpensive glasses as my first glasses, The glasses took under 2weeks to arrive and I received a notification to book an appointment to have them fitted. The glasses I received came with a 2yr warranty and have been fabulous. Thank you Specsavers
Popped in to have my eye-sight test from January uploaded to ServiceNSW, very very busy with plenty of competent staff to cope with all the customers - kudos to Specsavers Top Ryde brilliant service. I admit I do not like shopping in bricks and mortar stores because very often the service is so disappointing, it's not unreasonable to expect good service and Specsavers you deliver excellent service!
Long wait times for assistance with frames and choices, despite someone saying they would be with you shortly. I waited 20min from then, and still had to ask someone to look after me. I wasn't too impressed as I've been a long term customer of this store.
Staff and service was very good, but the range of frames for people who have active jobs and only need "half frame under the lens" reading glasses is poor. One style is hardly a range.
I am not very happy with the service I received at all. Firstly, once I chose my glasses, 2 pairs, 1 x clear glass and 1 x sunglasses, I wasn’t told that I could get multi focal on the sunnies for free until I went back to see the optometrist, so had to go back and get it changed. Three weeks later I received a messsge to say the glasses were ready to pick up, the sun glasses had clear glass in them, so had to wait another 3 weeks to have that fixed. Customer service was terrible.
