Just did ultrasound yesterday, would like to take a moment to share the wonderful experience at SMI Parramatta centre. The staff there especially receptionist Ms Zhu and Sonographer Carol were truely exceptional and deserve all the praise.

Ms Zhu was efficient and professional. She was so kind to answer all the questions we raised. She checked all the available time and made earliest suitable appointment for us.

Sonographer Carol was equally impressive. Her attention to detail and expertise was truely remarkable.

We were blown away by the level of care and attention. They went above. We couldn't be more grateful, highly recommend this centre to anyone in need of imaging service.

Worst experience ever! They sent a student to practice on my wife’s ultrasound for nearly an hour and then informed us that requiring another supervisor to check on her work before they can provide the report! The owner in the picture name Ho was rude, despite the long and painful experience, he even blaming us for wasting the time! One star is just too much for my rating in this practice.

Had an xray and ultrasound. Always quick and great service. Some times I've been able to come in without a booking and seen promptly (depending on what you are having done)

Amazing receptionists who went above and beyond what they were supposed to do. Always choose this place for a scan!

Quick service is provided by this imaging center. Staff is helpful and nice. This facility is clean and tidy as well. Covid rules are followed. The front desk helps so much at first visit that all looks easy till the time you wait. The specialists are well equipped and have great knowledge with skills to make the patient comfortable.

Subpar. I had an ultrasound, received the films on the day but not the Dr’s report. Understandable not to get the Dr’s report on the day, but it still hasn’t been sent through to my care provider 5 days later meaning it was not available for review prior to the procedure that I was having done - this was the whole point of me having the ultrasound done to begin with. The hospital tried numerous times on the day to have the clinic to send through the report and we waited to no avail. This rendered the service I paid for useless. Ultrasound process itself just OK, room old and uninviting and practitioner did not speak a lot, and when he did, asking disconcerting questions such as “are you wearing a tampon” (no) or “do you have scars” (no).

For my ultrasound the person did not use proper lube and was very rough during the procedure - I went to the toliet and I had some blood from my private parts.

This is completely improper clinical behaviour and there is a distinct lack of care for patient dignity.

Not sure what you're "researching" but it was more an issue of not having enough lube. Having a student dig around for a couple of minutes certainly didn't help either.

What a joke! I was told 8, and have been waiting an hour then to be told 9.and now I’m waiting another 30 minutes. I swear monkeys could do a better job running this place.

Unprofessional rude customer service.specially Asian lady not bothering herself to explain properly when I am getting my result.

I just can not keep quiet. Today I had an amazingly caring receptionist Francine. She went absolutely out of her way to help me. Thank you so much

I was there to get an ultrasound done for my 6 weeks old baby. The radiologist was in a hurry to get the test done. He didn't even gave a chance to wipe the area after applying gel and showed no pateince while handling a baby. After the test was done, he didn't said anything about the result as well. I strongly feel that radiologist should be very pateint at least with babies if not with adults.

Not even allowed to be inside the building during my baby's 1st scan. Heartbreaking to say the least.

Big thank you to the wonderful reception staff, who were able to book me in on the spot, with no appointment, for a CT Scan. Lucy did my CT Scan and was very helpful and made me feel comfortable in preparing for my scan. Even the convenience of getting my results and scans electronically was an easy and simple process. It was refreshing and comforting to be surrounded by such a lovely, friendly team especially during these tough Covid times. Thanks again and I will definitely be coming back here to get my Scans done.

I went to the place for core biopsy procedure. Excellent and friendly doctor and radiologist for the procedure. I came in with lot of anxiety but the procedure went smooth and painless.this imaging place is a reason I am feeling relieved.thank you very much doctor, the radiologist and the reception people.u all are so warm and friendly

I came to this center in Grose Street this morning and expected to see the Chinese lady. Because she uses my language it’s easier for me to communicate. She was off today and I felt disappointed because she’s very helpful and efficient. I hope to see her when I come next time.

Receptionist told me they are to busy to follow instructions on referral.
Also been told they can’t (in 2021!) send the results through to the referring oncologist. Apparently no electronic links, no email and no fax available at this place.
Stay away - go somewhere else for ur scans

First I would said thank you for Dr.that give me the injection at my shoulder he very very gentle and very experienced. Very time I step in the door I feel very comfortable with the staff at the counter and they all very friendly and not have to wait so long I highly recommend this place thank you.

Had to get an injection for my shoulder and it was a quick and professional experience. Dr Greg Chan was very gentle and professional with administering the needle. The staff was also extremely polite and ensured I did not wait long for the procedure. Anyway I never do reviews but I promised the lady I would! Thanks again to the staff
