The customer service in this place has deteriorated terribly. Wait times it the counter and staff knowledge means you should only order over the phone and then hope the pick up goes smoothly. Or get it sent.

I had a window on one of those Ute tray enclosure things with the swing open windows just completely shatter, it wasn't a passenger window into the car or anything but it was lockable and no longer worked. I looked at replacing it and it was over $500+ to get it done.

I got the poly-carbonate closest to the shade colour of the original glass. It was in all reality unnoticeable, took me week of looking at it to notice the slight differences between them. It definitely wasn't noticeable from a distance. As its plastic rather than glass I thought it would've had a few noticeable scratches, but that never ended up happening, it either didn't happen or was unnoticeable. The match to the glass was pretty much perfect. Plus importantly it was far far stronger.if it wasn't for the other 3 glass windows (the ones that didn't break), it'd say it only made it more secure.

Anyway, back to specfast. They made the whole process easy. I spent time 3D modelling the whole thing but I wasn't 100% sure on the dimensions as the shape has some strange corners and all that, so they recommended also leaving the frame. They just made it to suit that and didn't need to worry about the model, way too easy!

I installed it and it looked fantastic. I love that I have a business like this just down the road. They also provide great advice and help on tasks. Sometimes I get worried about my job being "too small" but they never make me feel like that. I'll keep coming back. Thanks!

The staff here are always very friendly and go out of their way to help. In 40yrs of business I have never come across a company where all the staff I have dealt with are like this. Whatever you do to keep your staff so happy, just keep it up. Cheers.

I was completely let down by them. I had arranged to pull out windows in my boat which is too large to remove from the water. Made a number of calls to them and explained the importance or the job being completed immediately. Called two weeks prior and the day before and was told to come in and it will be done straight away, price quoted as well. Got up early, took the windows out, traveled 40 minutes to be told it could be completed until the following week. I explained my prior conversations and was still turned away due to them being too busy. No apology or anything. After a lot of stuffing around on that day and a lot more travelling I managed to get the job done elsewhere and cheaper.

Appalling custom service. I left a template there for a quote. Finally after 5 weeks without any contact (I chased twice) they advised that "the boss said the job is too fiddly and we won't do it".

Was totally let down by them today, again.
Phoned up and ordered bolts, gave them 3 hours notice and when I arrived to pick up they did the paperwork gave me 2 bolts and said they'd order the other 28.
A phone call would of been nice.

Great to deal with! I rang them to see if they would be able to post an order to me which they did with extremely reasonable freight charges. On top of that I kept ringing and adding to the order, while waiting for some bolts to come in, and it was never a problem.

Great service from knowledgeable staff. Good place to go for fasteners out of the ordinary. I got what I required.

When i go to buy something they are very helpful even when i can't remember what the product is. Has everything in stock. Great prices too.

The staff are very helpful, and the range of fasteners is outstanding. I would be comfortable saying that Specialty Fasteners have gotten me out of a bind more than 10 times now.

Been standing at the counter for 20 minutes and still no service. They really need to realise more than one person is required to be employed to handle the front desk
