First time having to deal with electricians and to my relief, it went smoothly. The initial consult/booking over the phone was explained in a simple and straightforward manner, received SMS reminders the day before the appointment, and the sparky that came was polite, efficient and helpful (despite being 7am in the morning). I hired Sparky nearby to change the old fluorescent lights from my unit to new modern led lights and to install some ceiling fans. They were beyond excellent, good work and great price! They arrived on time and did a great job, a big shout to William Knapp - great and friendly guy. Did an incredible and fast job - considering the number of lights he had to change! Thank you guys, if we need other works will be calling you again.

This business is very proactive, reminders sent to confirm time and day. Two very professional electrician installed my new fans. Cleaned up no rubbish put furniture back in place……. Highly recommended Sparky Nearby. Super service, very professional and friendly. Also they use good quality fans and are cost effective.

I actually had some communication issues initially, I was quoted to replace a couple of downlights and fix a switch but after the job was complete the invoice I received was double the amount quoted. When I called to query this it was clear there had been a communication issue when the tradesmen were doing the work and Tom very graciously honoured the original quoted amount. The tradesmen who did the work very professional and did great work, but the handling of the billing issue really amazed me. Excellent customer service, quality work and a high level of professionalism. I would definitely recommend.

I contacted Sparky Nearby to replace my bathroom exhaust fan and on a separate occasion to replace my kitchen rangehood. The first was completed almost immediately as the oart was in the van. The second job took longer because I wanted a specific model rangehood exhaust fan. This took longer to get but once in the job was completed quickly and I have been happily using both exhaust fans ever since. I highly recommend Sparky Nearby for all electrical services that can provide.

So pleased with Sparky Nearby! They promptly called to arrange a service date, called again to remind me of the appointment, and showed up right on time. They were friendly, organised and professional. Changed my light fixtures and installed a new fan fast and with minimal noise or mess. I was working from home at the time and there was zero disturbance. Highly recommend!

Tom and his team were punctual and very professional. They were careful with my furniture and did not leave a mess. They found issues related to wrong wiring and fuses that weren't tripping. Very satisfied with their job.

We called Sparky Nearby at night after AusGrid had arrived and said they couldn’t help and that we would need a Level 2 Electrician. Sparky Nearby have this licence and were able to come over and sort out our power supply issues. They also fixed up some lights inside while they were there. Thanks guys!
