South Cronulla Beach Rock Pool

Really great way to start your day! Can be very cold and when it's high tide expect to be thrown around a bit.

A beautiful spot for a swim, surrounded by a range of cafe, restaurant and RSL options.

For photographers or drone flyers like us, this is also a great spot to take a few snaps.

Good for a swim but can be busy at times. 50m sea pool which is regularly refreshed by the sea. Needs to be emptied of sand as quite shallow currently on the seaward side.

‍️Not a bad Beach it has paths along the beach good for a walk or a run, has grass area with picnic tables, close parking and playground for the kids.

This was my first visit to the beach and rockpool. The beach and the pool are easily accessible and you have a lovely path for walking and jogging all along the beach. A good place to bring your family.

For photographers like me, this is one of the hotspots for sunrise photography.

Classic beach rock pool with plenty of room for lap swimming or just chilling. Watch out for rocks and sharp edges at bottom of the pool and slippery moss on sides and access steps.

50m length pool. Crowded during popular times. Doesn’t get flushed as much as Shelly or Oaks beach pools. But a great swimming spot regardless.

Nice rock pool. It can get crowded on hot days. Early mornings and late evenings are best. Good for laps. Check the cleaning schedule though. It can get dirty towards the end of a cleaning cycle. 5 stars if the council would clean it more often!

Pool was clean and not too deep. Great way to start the day.
There were few people around even at 6am, so it must get busy during the day time.

Great ocean pool! It’s no Bondi icebergs of course, but still full sized pool with ocean water, bliss!
