She was very accommodating with appointment times and any requests with the dress. The store is conveniently located with parking out the front. Highly recommend!

I cannot rate Lucia and her team highly enough! I visited Soraya after having a horrible experience at another alterationist in the CBD and Lucia came highly recommended. I only wish I'd visited her first. She has a beautiful calming manner and exudes professionalism and kindness. The minute I put on my dress, she started pinning it to perfection. The previous alterationist had told me my wedding dress was too difficult and wasn't suited to my body type. She couldn't have been more wrong. Lucia had my dress gathering, folding, flowing and looking stunning within minutes. The turnaround was quick, the whole team seem friendly and happy, the studio is pretty, light and clean. Just a fantastic experience. Even if Crows Nest is a bit of a hike to get to, it is 100% worth it. Lucia was amazing.

Lucia was absolutely amazing to work with. I ordered a Haute Couture dress from overseas for my wedding and it arrived damaged. It had intricate beading with pearls that hung and draped that were broken, leaving large gaps and broken strings of pearls everywhere. Lucia was not only so skilled at beading which required multiple fittings whilst wearing the dress but she is an absolutely gorgeous person who pours her heart and soul into her work. I cannot recommend Lucia anymore for high-end and intricate work on designer clothing.

I can’t recommend Soraya Tailoring enough! The wedding dress I ordered online went MIA so the week before the wedding I panic-bought one off the shelf - but I don’t have an off-the shelf body shape so naturally it needed some work! While other tailors laughed at my requested three-day turnaround for alterations, Lucia took the job on and delivered the dress on time, even though the seamstress was off sick. She did an amazing job on my dress and I can’t wait to wear it this week. I’ll definitely use Soraya for alterations again!
