Biggest Rip Off Store! Rude Arrogant Blame everything on the customers.
I bought a Sony ZV1 camera i explained why i needed it and they recommended it the battery from new the day i bought it cant stay on long enough in 4k when i called these losers they said its your fault cant help you. Its all over the internet that the camera cant record for long in 4k after i checked.
Go to JB HI FI they were so much more helpful and friendly and even were going to try and help me get a better camera.

Sales staff pretend they are busy and wasn’t interested to talk to us

After 5 minutes, i left and bought from other stores.

Great store to buy and get advice about Sony products. Well stocked and great customer service as well.

Returned a faulty product and was told even though it was within the warranty period they could not be replaced and it would cost $160 to "assess" them. If you had a similar experience contact the ACCC.

Extremely effective team members who helped resolve my problems and provide me good advice on my purchases. And of course very polite! Will return for more Sony products.

I was assisted by Frank. His knowledge of the whole repair/replacement and warranty process was outstanding. This was exactly what I was looking for. He was friendly and engaging, a real asset to myself and I assume many others that have entered the store seeking assistance. His service was so great that I offered to buy him a coffee for his work, although, he unfortunately declined.

Ryan was such a great help at getting us our first camera. He is very knowledgeable with cameras and helped us decide on what camera really would be a great fit for what we wanted. Excellent customer experience and definitely recommend.

We purchased Sony wireless earphones during black Friday sale. The lady staff member there showed us close to 6 different models with patience and positive attitude and answered all our questions with a big smile)

Very bad experience from castle hill Sony store manager. I went to buy a sony 55" Smart TV and I asked him about TV's specification. He told me to check the internet and he doesnot have any informationa and he is too rude. I received a very good discount offer from Sony customer service to replace my faulty Sony TV, however this manager from Castle Hill Sony store ruined my day. It was on the boxing day between 9.30 - 10.00am and the store is not busy at all. I think he is not interested to sell any product. Totally disapponted with the behaviour and very poor customer service and his couumnication is as he is shouting at me. Sony shall take some action on this guy. Won't be visiting this store again.

3 major purchases so far this year.

1 high end full frame camera body, this was at an instore workshop with the local Sony Advocates on a Saturday evening.
I got a very special event price offer.

1 APSC body and lens for my wife, this was after a detailed discussion and trial with Frank the store manager to determine what would be the best bit of kit for her. Awesome prices for this.

Lastly the awesome 200-600 telephoto
zoom lens. With this I had had the opportunity to have one for a test drive around Sydney Harbour for over an hour last winter.

At the moment Sony are running a cash back promotion. If you buy in store the redemption is immediate. Plus they readily price match proper Australian based stores.

I purchased a Sony A6600 today and found the staff members to be very helpful, knowledgeable and provided valuable information when they were asked question about product comparison.
Their price is competitive, their staff are knowledgeable and friendly – in particular Ayla and Ryan– I highly recommend visiting this store for all your Sony Camera needs.

The best service I’ve received when purchasing technology. They cared about my ambitions and my personal life to the point where we had a fluid conversation amongst discussing the best equipment for me. Happily donated their extra care and time to me. Wow, haven’t even mentioned that they price matched without even questioning once I showed them a cheaper online version, and proceeded to show me the the 50% of sale to further be savvy with my spending. Excellent customer service by Mr Berj, very knowledgeable, polite and excellent presentation and product knowledge.

Sales staff good, pity they cant sell too you but reference a partner that "might" carry it.

We had a standout customer service experience from Artyom, the assistant manager at this store. He gave us the best price of any retail outlet on our TV so that was great. But the main reason it was such a good experience is how knowledgeable Artyom was about the product. We had read all the reviews on this TV over the last year so we knew what to ask. He could explain really complex technical info in simpler terms. He knew everything about it. If you want a sony product definitely go see the experts Artyom and his team. They are all really helpful.

Ordering a new TV through here and Bradley M.has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with. Talk about going the extra step to provide an excellent level of customer service and a happy attitude towards his job. When I buy something else, I’m calling and asking for him directly! Highly recommend him!
