Somatic Intimacy Coaching

I was born at 26 weeks and spent three months in intensive care. I have been navigated healing this developmental trauma for over 25 years. The effects of this early medical trauma is complex and multifaceted. It requires a lot of practitioner know how and nuance to support healing. I had one session with Ami and experienced such a huge shift, it is impossible to communicate in this format the depth of what happened. Ami is the real deal. I felt safe and attuned to, and deeply respected. I am seeing Ami for more sessions and plan to let friends know about her as well. Its my experience that healing on our own is very challenging, we need safe and talented people to create the right environment for that healing. If anyone has chronic pain, feels overwhelmed or stuck, has a broken heart or deep loss, shock or complex trauma, I would not hesitate to see Ami for support. I am so grateful I found her and her abilities.

Seeing Ami for my first session was a unique, rewarding and profound experience. She has a naturally calm presence, and has such a gentle and considered approach. Because of this I was able to really engage with considering how my conscious concerns were being expressed in the body, something I find very challenging at the best of times.

Ami has an amazing gift. She is a true healer. Just being in her presence brings me so much peace. I am not always comfortable being massaged but I feel so safe and protected with her.

I was unsure what would happen during the emotional release massage and I can't believe the shift that happened for me. Her gentle power helped release so many emotions and negative thoughts that were holding me back. I felt so calm at the end of the massage and so connected to my own strength and power. The benefits are still becoming apparent a week later. I am so much stronger, happier and more at peace. I'm enjoying so much more about my life again.

I started seeing Ami early 2021, with a deep-seated, unmet need for trauma healing, alongside a healthy dose of skepticism for anything that didn't entirely align with "scientific" or "proven".

From our very first session, my (previously limited and narrow) view of what could facilitate healing was entirely up-ended, and since then, my therapeutic relationship with Ami has completely shifted how I feel in my body and how I interact with the world.

Ami has become a mainstay in my ongoing journey of not only healing, but also becoming, connection, and integration. She offers an incredibly rare mix of being naturally gifted in somatic healing, as well as being skilled, educated, and committed to her own ongoing development as a practitioner.

I have had incredibly deep and profoundly moving experiences in our sessions, which have been facilitated by the lightest touch, or even simply her presence alone. I have been able to access, connect to, reshape, and make peace with childhood trauma that years of CBT and talk therapy were barely able to touch. I leave every session feeling lighter, grounded, connected, and more in my power than I had in almost 35 years.

Had a amazing massage with ami. First time I have had a massage and was a bit nervous. Ami talked me though the process and set my mind at ease. The message was firm but so relaxing and an hour flew past so quickly. Felt incredible afterwards. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful first session (of many, hopefully) with Ami earlier this week.
Ami was recommended to me by a friend and the timing of our paths crossing was just right. I'd been looking for a body worker who is also well versed in energetic practices and Ami is that person. From the moment she intuitively made her way downstairs to meet me at door before I'd knocked I knew that she would be in tune with what I needed. The process felt safe and warm from beginning to end. Ami listened to my needs and concerns and offered some of her own findings that she had picked up from reading me - all were spot on. We then moved to the massage table and Ami took great care in remembering my access needs as well as asking me for consent before going ahead with any new area of my body. She was also very receptive when I asked her if we could finish off the session on a light note. I felt like the whole time we were in collaboration with each other and that she would only take me as far as I could go, and always with my permission. I’ve seen lots of alternative healing practitioners over the last 15 years and have never come across someone like Ami. I felt deeply taken care of, was blown away by the energetic shifts that I experienced in the session and felt held throughout the process.
