Solomons Flooring Castle Hill are fantastic.
My mum recently had her carpet replaced with Solomon's Flooring, Castle Hill. My mum dealt with Ajmal and he could not have been helpful with the carpet selection, the price was the best of the quotes, and the carpet selected is great.
The carpet was installed just before Christmas, Omar and Qais did the install, and they were fantastic, such a great job.

We got hybrid flooring installed by Solomon Castle hill branch and they did an amazing job! The process and costing was transparent. Choosing the floor board, initial quote based on floor plan, actual measurements on site and installation was smooth.quality was excellent!

Alex and Ajmal at Castle Hill are wonderful to deal with. So friendly and very knowledgeable on products. We went in for floor boards initially however they were honest and advised the room we wanted done wasnt suitable. First class service from the very first meeting all the way through to a courtesy call to check that we were happy with everything once all was done. Ajmal and his team went out of their way to accommodate our renovation schedule, including splitting the laminate flooring and carpet installation into three separate sessions. We got hybrid flooring & carpet flooring installed by Solomon flooring (Castle Hill) at our home 1 year ago. Ajmal was very helpful from the start & not pushy. He shared relevant info & arranged for timely installation.
He also arranged for quick technician visit for one of the issues we had after the installation & got it fixed quickly. 'Wood Effect' plus hybrid flooring is also holding up nicely until now. Overall we are happy with the service & will definitely recommend it.

We shopped around a lot before coming to Slomons Flooring at Castle Hill. From the first moment we stepped into the store right up until I collected the overlocked remnants, we were looked after. I can not fault the team. The customer service we received in store and by the installers was without a doubt 5 star. Making such a large purchase can be a daunting decision. So glad we decided to go with Ajmal! Care, patience and expertise bar none.

Good place to buy carpets at a reasonable price, in the hands of a friendly and professional management, flexible enough to meet our needs. Thanks, Omar, for your timely and neat installation. This was our 2nd experience with SF, and so far we are very happy with the result.

We placed an order to replace our carpet with laminate.
Had a frustrating experience with this place after their installation team did not show up 3 days in a row and extremely poor communication from the franchise.
After paying our deposit, we were tentatively booked for a date, the franchise owner said he'll call and confirm closer to the date. We received no calls leading to the date and so we dropped by the store to check if it was happening that week. Owner was adamant that it was all booked in and will go ahead.
Day 1, no one showed up, we called the franchise and he admitted he knew there was an issue with the installation team's availability (and never communicated to us?). He offered to strip the carpets and have the installation team come the next day. So we agreed to have the installation team on day 2.
Day 2, still no show from the installation team, we followed the franchise and was no longer able to contact him. Called the store and another guy said he was not aware of the situation (obviously he didn't care enough for a handover). Advised him to call head office as to what's going on. No call back until 4: 10pm to check if HO called. I expressed my frustration and said I just don't want to deal with them any longer and want my full refund. He called his HO back and offered a one day installation. I agreed and was advised they'll arrive 7: 30am.
Day 3, it is 8: 30am and I'm still waiting.realised no one gave me any contacts I could call if no one showed up.

I am stuck as they won't give me a refund but keep screwing me over with no shows.

Do not go to this place! We went with them as they seem to offer good presale service. I'm astounded with their unbelievably poor post sale service. The franchise won't care to follow through and they do not keep you in the loop.

I would strongly advise to not shop here, what you are promised and what you get are two different things just like the carpet that we had installed just a few months ago, similiar - yes, but two different carpets none the less. The joins are not good as you can also see, plus on completing the job the installer demanded extra cash in hand for the job he did. Buyer beware!

Absolutely fantastic service from Ajmal, he's a true professional, made me feel very comfortable, and he knows his products very well.

He took the time to explain what's important to consider with floorboards, and took the time to understand all of my considerations n terms of look and budget. He then made a recommendation and i literally could not be happier with the results. The installation process was also very professional, done on time. I hope we can do business again.

Terrible job, carpet buckling after a few weeks. Tradesman damaged wooden flooring with his carpeting tool and tried to blame it on our dog
I would give 1 star but they did give us some good advice early on.

The salesperson, Ajmal was really helpful through the entire job. He patiently spent time to show all the available options and also did the measuring before making contract. Robert and his installation team also did fantastic job and finished the job in one day.

Good service from the sales team (Ajmal) and the installer. The installation took longer than expected (they have to come early morning the next day) but the end result was excellent.

We recently have replaced the carpets for our place through Solomon Carpets at Castle hill. Our house is huge and the stair job is complicated.however, the staff members came for 2 straight days from early morning till night to get the job done perfectly. The staff at the shop was very friendly and especially, staff- Ajmal arranged our service perfectly. He is always easy to communicate with. Our family just love the feeling of the new carpets. The quality of the carpets, the quote were excellent. We feel that the job was done professionally with great quote. I would recommend this place. Thank you Ajmal and the workers for your service!

This is the second lot of carpet we have had laid by Solomons at Castle Hill. We used them for our new house as we were most impressed with their courtesy, punctuality and price when they carpeted our old home. The team they sent us led by Sam worked long and hard. They completed a massive amount of carpeting in 12 hours. "The biggest job they've ever done. " They left the house neat and returned all the furniture and even helped me vacuum in the evening. I can thoroughly recommend them. They were always pleasant to deal with and what they said would happen did happen. If I need carpet again I would not hesitate to use them.

I highly recommend you never buy anything from this store. When my parents were shown the different carpets to choose, Wali placed the carpets on the gold coloured Dunlop underlay to show them what it would be like installed in their home. Told them that the gold underlay would be used and that if ordered that day, the carpet would be installed some time in the next week. It took nearly two weeks for the carpet to be delivered to the store (originally told it was coming from Melbourne, then it was coming from Brisbane, and finally told the day before installation it had arrived from Melbourne). When the installer arrived, the underlay was not gold but red, one quality level below the one originally shown. At no time did Wali ever mention the underlay to be installed was not going to be the one shown in store. He even had the audacity to tell my parents that the original underlay to be installed was the green one (2 levels below gold), but he upgraded them to the red. When questioned, Wali just told my parents that they didn't read the fine print when they signed.
