Very happy with my new roof ventilation system, once installed the house immediately transformed into a cooler environment. The Solartube RM1600 roof vent was installed and my old whirlybird re-located and it has made all the difference. I was happy with the whole process and can 100% recommend.

The amount of light the solatube gives in the room is simply amazing! Brightens up a dark living space.

Very happy with my purchase of a solar vent from Skylights Plus.
They had it installed no problem and it makes a massive difference to the heat coming from the roof cavity.
Solar powered fan is more or less silent so no problems with that either (early days yet but hopefully the motor lasts a long time)!

Oh my, it’s really amazing to have own SKYDOME or SKYLIGHT, worth to have at home to give brightness during summer time and winter time, without using ELECTRICITY. Would like to purchase product but am completely turned off by the nasally, irritating, whiny voiced presenter on their advertisement.

Made appointment, had to wait around 10 days for the rep. They confirmed the day before and on the day the rep phoned at 0827 to confirm he'd be at my place in an hour. I put my schedule on hold and waited. And waited. At 11: 11 a phone call, "I'm running late". Really? After I'd wasted my morning? I want 3 skylights but if that is the standard of this company how could I trust them with my business?

I had purchased a solar star unit about 3 years ago and recently called to book them in to move to a different location in my roof. I paid the upfront fee I was advised by Jonathan of $245 and the job was booked in. On the day the installer turned up but was unable to complete the job because he did not have a long enough ladder. Problem is that Jonathan asked me on the initial call if we were a single storey or two storey house and I advised two storey.so they rebooked us for the following Monday. I then called around 9.30am on the Monday to find out what time to expect them. I was advised that sorry but the installer had called in sick, can they rebook me? I was then rebooked and to my surprise they did not show up for the booking again. Spoke to Jonathan again and he rebooked me for Thursday 7th. I got a message on the Thursday morning that due to the weather the installation is unlikely to proceed. I can understand the weather is always going to delay things but it didn't actually rain on the Thursday or the following Friday. I still did not hear from them.
Called today and spoke to Krish who gave me a hard time because I could not provide the job number or quote number. Jonathan never gave me this information so I was unable to give to Krish yet she made it out that I was being an inconvenience to her. I have asked her to return my money and cancel the job, she has stated she will do it tomorrow but I really think I will need to continue to chase them for my money back. What a frustrating experience!

Incredibly effective and efficient way to light up your dark rooms.
I have four SolaTubes on my house roof and they have been lighting up dark rooms for the past 25 years.
It is good to see the company is still operating after all these years.

Was only going to get skylight but after chatting for a while about the heat in my roof i also purchased a solar air vent that removes more heat than 5 old style roof vents thankyou for being a professional business

We had 2 Solatube Solar exhaust fans installed in September, difference so far (Spring only) is amazing, not cheap but do the job!
After installation service is excellent, we had a leak in bedroom ceiling down light last night close to 1 exhaust unit, Robert came out same day as we called, checked it out and issue is with Solar Panels conduit not Solatube exhaust unit (photos taken). Robert temporarily fixed problem for us until we can get Solar Panel guys back out to seal leak. Definitely recommend!

With Solatube Brisbane no problem is too difficult to solve. They are a business that caters to the custom needs of the customer. Complete customer satisfaction is placed ahead demands for payment. Very happy with the result following installation of our Solatube. Our room, where we are spending too much time because of lockdown, is very much brighter. The brightness achieved is very impressive. Installation was quick and professional, and clean-up efficient too.

Great job that was done in a professional manner. The installer was able to advise the best location for our solar tube and this has made a huge difference to our previously dark stairwell.

We got a good quote fast. The guys came in for installation and realised due to the roof inclination that they need to modify the product a bit so we get more light. Did the job on a future appointment and we are very happy with the result. I do Recommend them and will use the company again

(Note: We had two solar tubes installed a few years ago so we already knew it was a bloody good product!)

I had a Solatube and Whirligig installed. The Solatube is fabulous. Unfortunately the installation caused a problem on my roof causing a leak onto my ceiling. On my request, the installer returned after a week of heavy rain, but the leak was not fixed. I had to get a roofer to rectify the problem at my cost. He suggested the cause was possibly due to movement caused by the installation.
Whether it was existing or new it was made worse by the installation and the technician could have fixed it but didn’t. It’s a shame, as it’s a great product.

Quote to install in 2 weeks. Brightened up our kitchen and dining area. Its like night and day!
Recommended.
