Part of Latitude Financial. Recently handed over all customers personal and financial details to hackers. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care, attention and security. … now I am at best significantly inconvenienced, at worst vulnerable to be preyed upon by criminals. Your loyal customers should never have been put in this position!

Profoundly Rude Staff after early paid off loan unfortunately. Did not expect accusations left on my file. Oh well out of debt now.

To get my loan, they were great, and throughout the loan period they did they job.

2 gripes, firstly if the loan payment fell on a public holiday they actually moved the payment FORWARD, so you needed to factor this into any budgets.

2nd gripe is when I completed my loan, I have been emailing and asking for a confirmation the load is complete (approx 18 months early), but it's taking multiple weeks before customer service even read my emails.

Seems while your making them money they work for you, after this, they dont care about you anymore.

Well the application process is pretty good we got approved but they wanted control of the finance why give finance to someone then do that we declined there loan pure stupidity

Accidentally I day over due. Tried contact support to sort it out. It's like everyone is on a holiday or not want their money back because 1hr on hold and they still haven't answered the phone

Requested a payout figure and still somehow there was a dishoured payment a week after I paid them out in full. Would have gave 4 stars if that didn't happen.

Wouldn’t recommend this company. Slow response times & unnecessary follow ups are required if you have to deal with them.

I actually thought they were a credit union that was advertising on tv when I moved my financing to them. They weren't, but they have been great and I've never looked back! Nice people, easy to deal with and will use them again. Thank you. John

They made it so effortless to apply for finance & responded fast AAAAA I highly recommend this group for their performance, correspondence time & great results via best interest rate as well. I’m a very happy customer. Sincerely Doug

Would have given 5 stars as going through Society One I was able to reduce my interest from 16% to 11.5% on a personal loan - amazing!

But.hate how they discriminate against their " older" customers. Whenever I get a loan, I will normally immediately start to add extra weekly payments which reduces loan time by years. Contacted SocietyOne and asked them to provide banking details BPay or similar so I can start adding extra repayments and was told " sorry you need to download the mobile app to obtain those details".

I asked can't you email me the details? " No"
Can't I access a website or desktop app? " No"
As a principle I don't do any banking with my mobile (call me paranoid or old fashioned) so 6 months into the loan I have not been able to pay anything extra.

Why can't I access my online account through desktop or web? Why am I forced to use a mobile app? Can't understand the logic behind it.

Great customer service, very quick to respond and ease of completing an application. Would recommend to everyone. A cut above the rest. Thank you for making life that much easier in a world of such complication.

Society One what can I say they are the best we have used them over the last 5 years we have had nothing but the best they go above and beyond to answer any questions we have had always very pleasant to speak to I highly recommend Society One keep up the great work

Very fast and approved on same day. Friendly staff and I urge everyone should go with them. I have been trying for 4 to 5 lenders but Society approves me within a day.

Certainly much better customer service than the Big 4 Banks in Australia. Loans assessment was a simple process & approval quite quick - with a competitive interest rate far better than the big banks!
