The chapel here is stunning, the community always welcoming. A genuine place of love.

A close knit community. Everyone is welcome to join (as long as it is within the current COVID-19 restriction allowance for now).

A nice quiet spiritual place to go too. Lot of greenery. Went there on a Sunday afternoon. No one was there. There is a small and beautiful chapel namely the Arnold Janssen Chapel. Limited car parks. Had an Uncle come here some 20plus years ago so was good to come to this place. Pictures appear smoky due the current bushfire smoke covering Sydney.

Great atmosphere and food but they only had wooden benches to sit on with no tables.

Best home away from home this side of Sydney. Their student accommodations (Mack's Place for 5 girls and Freinademetz House for 19 boys/girls) are so ideal for students in Macquarie university. It's a 15-minute walk to uni, 10 minutes to Woolies, 2 minutes to a bus stop, and 1 minute to a chapel. The location is perfect to access all these important social spaces, plus the compound is peaceful, serene, and well-maintained. It is definitely conducive for study and spiritual nourishment. A warm community of Catholics celebrate daily 7am Mass (9am on Sundays and holidays) at the Arnold Janssen Chapel presided by the lovely SVD missionary fathers. Then, we share breakfast of coffee and toast afterward. Saturdays are extra special because people hang back for an hour of jamming. Everyone is welcome to join - just bring your favourite instrument (ukuleles are a popular choice here), your unique voice, and joy in your heart. I've been here for over a year now, and have no plans of moving. This place is my little piece of heaven Down Under.
