After renovation, there is no longer a free weight zone here. This is just a personal training shop.

Visited from another snap fitness venue and this place is awful, terrible lighting, bathroom locks are broken and faulty, lots of the machines are damaged and broken close to being unusable. Not to mention how cramped all the machines are there’s no room for space or to be able to safely do every exercise. Will not be coming back.

Would be great if they can fix the floor and the punch bag. The gym is quite packed, there is only little space for every facility.

Extremely dishonest and will tell u lies in order to sign u up. Stay away from this facility.
Especially jason who is supposed to be the main guy.

This gym is privately owned by trainers.the Trainer EVA LEE leaves the equipment she used without even organizing it.

Rat and Cockroach infested. Equipment broken and not well maintained. Staff rude.

Also the most expensive gym in the area with their $250 'card fee'. Don't bother with this one.

Great gym and good friendly staff with a great knowledge of training. It’s good that you can use anytime of day or night and plenty of equipment

I’ve been coming here for a year and the place started out really good with well maintained machines/equipment and was well priced. Unfortunately the gym has really taken a turn. Often there’s no aircon on so the place smells really bad (this is at 5am) which makes working out not as nice. The equipment has also started to become damaged and hasn’t been replaced which is a shame to see.

Used to be a very good gym and well maintained.

Now it smells like a bin room daily, has torn equipment, poor air-conditionining, clogged fans, has deodorant signs with no deodorant cans and has had broken wifi for 3 weeks.

I'm definitely going to be terminating my membership as soon as I can and never looking back!

Very close to the Burwood station. During the coronavirus period, manager John protects the health and safety of every member. I hope that the manager will continue to protect the health of the members, please.

The female staff in the gym are very friendly and always smile. I often come here for sports physiotherapy with my therapist, and I have already lost 30kg. The machines and environment here are very clean, and the staff often wipe and disinfect every piece of fitness equipment with alcohol. The manager will also require each member to prepare towels.

I would like to give two suggestions: I hope Sap Fitness Burwood can add new machines. Because other Snap Fitness branches have these machines, such as machines for climbing stairs. I really waited for this machine for a long time. I always saw this machine on the TV of Snap Fitness Burwood, but I never saw it on Snap Fitness Burwood. The second suggestion is that some members are very selfish and keep playing smartphone and chatting, which makes other members unable to train. Because some members of the attitude is very arrogant.

Cancelled membership In Jan 2022 and they still kept charging for 2 months before we had to go in an verbally tell them that this was an error (tried to email and call before but no one replied/picked-up). We requested a refund for the 2 months that were wrongly charged for and was told it would get sorted in 2-3 weeks. That was in early March and is now mid April.

We sent follow-up emails but don't live in the area anymore so it's difficult to go back and discuss in person.

Will delete this review if the payment gets processed but it shouldn't be this difficult. Didn't have this problem with the previous 5 gyms I was at.

Reasonable price range
Slightly tiny space, especially during peak hours
Friendly people and stuff
Accessible (approximately 2 minutes from the train station)

OVER THIS GYM!

This gym keeps getting worse and worse. I've been training here for a year now and nothing has changed. The gyms PT's are all so entitled, they kick you off the equipment without and explanation. The equipment is always broken an everything's a mess.
PT Chungy Liu keeps bringing a Dog to the gym, its so Un-Hygienic! And distracting. I've never been to a gym where dogs are allowed, its so frustrating.

Not one of the best gyms and poor management

I've been at this gym for 1 year and it has only gotten worse. Many of the equipment is broken and has not been fixed. I tried to go to a class on Tuesday and the PT said there will be no class because it was only me that turned up. Last week I see the PT Chungy Liu brings a dog into the gym.why are pets allowed? Could members be asked prior!
I am allergic to dogs which makes me frustrated. Why are PTs above members?

Good location about 1 min walk to the station, and that’s about the only good thing. The rest of it just terrible.

Great gym! The gym is always clean with a good range of equipment to train with. The staff there are friendly and always around if I need help with something.

The manager Jonh is so rude! I lost my membeship card and the card was used by a stanger. He sent me a email, and ALSO call me AT SAME TIME to warn me that I will be fined 150 aud, when I was working! It happened before as well, he loves to send you a screenshot of cctv! I am so disappointed, and feels that the screenshot invade my privacy! I will terminate the membetship and never visit burwood snap again!

I really love this gym. Everyone is so friendly, I love the atmosphere here. The equipment is in great condition and clean, management really work hard to give us a great customer service experience in a professional but personable environment.
I always feel so welcome when I train here. Like part of the family.

Compare to other gym options in the area I have found Snap Fitness Burwood as a great place to workout, reasonable membership fee, very professional staff, clean and very organized.
So I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to workout.

Have been going to this gym for a few months now and what can I say, the machines and the environment is always clean. Manager John is also very friendly and knows what he's doing and is honestly the key reason I'm still around. My personal trainer Chloe is also another amazing human who has taught me key workout routines. Highly recommend this gym if you live around the area. Also back to 24/7 now!
