Wonderfully happy with these guys, friendly and professional from start to finish. Our solar specialist Preston Beveridge made it all so easy, all we had to do is grin at the prospect of no more electricity bills.

We highly recommend Smart Energy and their representatives Coby and Preston.
We have had our solar panels for several years but without the solar battery option.
Coby, a representative from Smart Energy, came to our house to see if we would be interested in having a solar battery fitted to our system. He sold us on the advantages etc of a battery installation and arranged for Preston Beveridge, a Solar Specialist from Smart Energy, to come around to explain the details.
We were very impressed with Preston. Using our previous electricity accounts, he was able to suggest the best battery arrangement for our system and the advantages it would provide for us. One big advantage is that we don’t lose power during a failure of the grid system which has been the case in the past. It gives us more independence and adds more value to our existing solar panels.
It has now been installed for several days and we are already very impressed. Preston has contacted us several times to make sure all is going according to plan.

A young man called Preston got me to sign on for solar he was very confident and knew alot about the product he was selling. He was not pushy and let us make up our own minds. He was there every step of the way even after it had been installed he still messaged to see that everything was up and going well. Thankyou Preston great job keep up the good work. Well done.

Fantastic company to deal with, wonderful customer service and very impressed with the quality. I met your sales representative Dean Goss when he attended our home to discuss solar energy. Dean was very professional and knowledgeable, answered all questions we had. Extremely happy with Smart Energy and would highly recommend them to our friends and family.

Absolute atrocious customer service.we had our solar system with battery installed 12 months ago now having a battery fault been contacting them for a week and still just getting a run around. Ring to follow up get told that I'll call you back they're looking into it and yet you never get a call back

I wish i had done this way earlier, bills have been a lot cheaper living at home with 2 disabled family members which means 3 people home almost 24/7, the solar will pay for it self very quickly for us,
The sales rep Robert Ford has been awesome, any question i have had he has been there to answer, and has been very knowledgeable on the best provider and what plan to take.

I had smart energy install my 6.65 Kw system with 19 x 350 watt panels.l liked the service the feedback nothing was to much trouble. From start to finish. I liked the 2D roof drawing to show how it will look and fit on my roof. The install team were great, clean tidy efficient, great job boys. They even installed the app on my phone for me so l can monitor it at any time. Yes l have no hesitation in recommending Smart Energy.

Smart Energy were not the cheapest quote I got, but I wasn't interested in just quickly getting the cheapest items on the market. Jackson's explanations on the phone made sense to me, he mentioned that they pay their workers a decent rate of pay, and so I asked the installers who came to my house and they are indeed well paid so they don't have to quickly install at my place and rush off to get another job hurridly done, so they do a good job on my roof, the electricity smart meter was installed the same day, the electrician who did a random check up on our place (they are required by the govt authorities to randomly check a certain percentage) said it was a good job and an excellent converter unit, and the follow up from the Solar Company was excellent. Start to finish an easy 'one-stop shop' process. The cherry on the top was in my first electricity bill after which was significantly lower so winning & saving from the start

Very RUDE young Sale boy knock on my door, when I said I am not interest I rent, he called me a Narcissist. If Smart Energy hire people like this image how Smart Energy will be when something goes wrong with Solar system, buyers please be aware & shop around, you'll probably have nothing but problems as this company sounded very desperate, not a good sign.

Smart Energy Group promises great after sales service as part of their higher price sales pitch. Don't believe it.
We had a system installed by them in January, and when the next rains came, we notice that our roof was leaking from where they had installed it.
We asked them if they would fix the leak, and after a number of unanswered emails, they finally sent a young fellow who checked the roof and said that some of the tiles had "not been sitting right".
He claimed that he fixed them, but the leaking continued, and still does.
We asked another contractor to have a look and he said that we would need to check about the moving of the panels to look underneath. I have climbed up and have seen broken tile edges on the area of roof where the installation occurred.

We have had no responses to our further emails. We think that they are hoping that we just fix it and pay for it ourselves.

Go with someone with a better record instead.

Customer service was excellent. The installation of the solar system went smoothly with no hiccups. Would definately recommend.
