Auction house advertised a buy now price on an item after it was passed it at auction. I contacted Lachlan in the morning and make my intentions for purchase clear.he told me accounts would ring and take a deposit so that i could secure the item. Without any call from their office admin, I drove directly to Milperra from the other side of Sydney to finalise the transaction. On arrival I was told the item was no longer for sale and would be resisted for auction. I guess a used car salesman will always be a used car salesman. Very unprofessional business Slattery Auctions.

The worst service I’ve seen in my life, and I had an argument with Richard in milperra auction and they didn’t give me my item so I’m gonna complain and take them to court

Rude and racist staff when we came to pick up items they are angry and impatient very bad customer service in Sydney Milperra auction.

Worse customer service, people working there are scums only care about how to take your money be aware they promotes something and sell you something else.

My driver came all the way from Sydney to Brisbane. And we found damage 4 wheels and damaged cable connection. The rest of the auctions in Australia always describe and display damage from outside. I knew no Auction can't show from inside. But at least show us whatever they can see.
And no response, I received so far

So we will be prepared and come with Mechanic. But I found paucity in my recent bought.

Good costumers service and easy online bidding. The only negative thing is the items they put for auction are sold "as is with all faults if any"!
I won a high end laptop and paid good money for it to discover that the screen is burned and the money I paid went down the toilet. Hope you can put one of these options, especially for expensive electronic goods.

1: give the bidders a chance to inspect the goods themselves a day before at least. Or,

2: do an inspection for your goods and state the condition of the items.

It's not fair for the purchasers to pay big amounts of money for faulty stuff.

Bid live at a Slattery Auction on June 12th 2019, my bid kept looking like it was was going through, it was accepting it and then allowing me to bid again, I thought I was the highest bidder, only to see after the lot disappeared that a room bid was accepted, the system had rolled back and all my bids had been ignored, even though I had bid up to $1200 on a item that was passed in (referred) at $900, I was naturally extremely upset, I had set my heart on purchasing that particular lot and I was prepared to pay over $2000 more for it.

To make things even worse and definitely a whole lot stranger I logged into the Slattery system and checked my Active Bids and there was the item, bid accepted (not mine) for $900 (item referred - not sold) and there was my bid showing (my max bid $1200), how could their system register the fact that I had been bidding up to $1200 without accepting my bids, multiple times. How can the integrity of their online system be trusted, this is a very strange thing to happen and it does make you wonder what was really going on! How would their customer feel (seller), for example a local Council if they knew that there asset had been sold for $900 when we were prepared to pay more than $3500 for it, is this a one off event, it is deeply troubling and very very concerning especially for their sellers. In this sale it is possible that NO Online bidders were able to bid AT ALL, if that was the case that would have cost their vendors thousands and thousands in lost asset value.

To top it all off, I called soon after this happened explained to a office girl what had happened before the sale was finished, explained I was prepared to pay more, the item had not been sold and was on referral, was assured I would receive a call back and hopefully it could be sorted out and the item put through to me, you guessed it, no call back, nothing! I had to ring again and complain, not professional, in all honesty not what I was expecting at all, very disappointed with the whole thing.

Later when I had to chase Slattery Auctions, I eventually received a call from one of the owners so that I could explain the situation, "I will look into it and come back to you, again nothing! " Not even a empty apology.

James, Gavin and the staff at Slattery Auctions are very professional to deal with, I have dealt with them on numerous occasions and I am always happy with my purchases and the prices paid. I would throughly recommend this company for any future purchases.

Warning. This company has no moral compas.
They advertised a truck on line with 730000 km and upon further investigation within the trucks computer it actually had travelled 1730000. Thats right 1 million km over the advertized distance travelled.

And what was thier response. "So sad too bad" and the law can't touch them because there not motor dealers.

Avoid this auction house at all cost they have no morals nor responsibility for thier actions, but thier ok with falsely representing and selling a vehicle. In short there typical scum.

Great bunch of people. Make sure you navigate to "Slattery. " not to their street address as you might end up somewhere else.
