The booking process was very easy and fast online. Cheapest quote buy $200!
The call centre staff were so friendly and helpful when advising on ETA of the bin. The lovely gentleman who delivered the skip bin helped us put towels under it so it wouldn't scratch the driveway. We weren't home when they picked it up but noticed they neatly folded our towels and put them beside the garage. Wouldn't hesitate using this company again and have already recommended to friends.

This is the third time my partner & his family have dealt with Skip Bins Online & each time the experience has been positive. This time my partner & I were melding households so we needed more than a council clean -up. I found Skip Bins Online easy to understand in their booking process, especially the type of bin I would require. I didn't have to go through a 'get a quote' method. They verified the booking quickly outlining all that was required such as what not to put in bin. The bin arrived on day 1 in the morning giving us maximum time. We booked the bin for 5 days but contracted covid so I contacted them & asked for a possible extension. Emilie replied promptly that it was not a problem & gave us the 2 extra days for no extra cost. We would gladly recommend this company to others & plan to use them when more 'melding' occurs.

Perhaps skip booking services are all like this; I don't know as I don't normally use them, but my experience with SBO was very positive.
*the person we spoke to while doing a big house cleanout and move, was very switched on, precise and personable.
*we had 5 skips all up, and each one was delivered/swapped over at exactly when it was scheduled.
*SBO called prior to deliveries to confirm it would be happening.

All that was very helpful indeed as we were coordinating numerous other tasks at the same time.

Great company to deal with, fast, responsive and great service at a good price. I got a few quotes online and they came back with the fairest price, no hidden/undisclosed charges, all up front.
Be very careful of many providers out there many of which have exorbitant excess charges.

Was happy with the bin provided. Flexibility of collection date was great due to a delay in filling the bin. The driver was courteous and happy to locate the bin exactly where I wanted it.

Recycling of old water solar panels has turned in a red tape saga. The problem was how to determine an excess load of 1 or a few more kilograms if the standard weighbridge shows increments of 20kg only. Together with the Skip Bins staff, we managed to beat the red tape. My old solar panels have been recycled.

Used this service in May 2019 to throw out general waste, some paling fences and household items. When the bin was picked up we received a call to say there was asbestos in the bin and that we had to pay $1800 to have it dumped properly. We asked to have the bin returned as we knew there was asbestos in it. After emails and phone calls they finally returned the bin, less copper pipes, stainless steel and other re-sellable materials. We had to remove all contents and then had to wait over a week for them to pick up empty bin. We called another company who came out and picked up the rubbish and confirmed there was no asbestos in there at all. We paid for rubbish removal that we never got and they tried to earn extra with lies. Would not trust this company at all.

Ordered a 4m bin and had a 3.5m bin delivered. No offer to replace - just told me I could overfill it. Picked up bin a week after they were supposed to.

(I have had a similar problem of an undersized bin delivered by another internet skip provider, and have independently heard other reports about this happening, so be sure to measure your bin - it won't be labelled.)

I booked and paid for 2m bin.
No email was sent to me, providing me with contact information of the 3rd party.
No invoice was sent to me.
I stated to leave the bin in the driveway, behind the car, not to worry about the car.
This wasn't communicated to the driver.
I asked the driver to collect the bin between 12 - 4pm and he confirmed he would. The bin was collected at 9.05am not even half full, with my tools on the side of it.
I called and spoke to Emily and Jackie and they refused to do anything about it. They said they have requested photos to see how full the bin was and that they would have my tools returned to me, that didnt happened. They even tried to lie to me saying i had the bin for the full duration of the booking. The owner of the bin company confirmed that the bin was collected early.
I strongly do not recommend Skin Bins Online.
They did nothing at all to help me, all they did was be defensive. Didn't try at all listen to me, expect accuse me of lying. JACKIE NO EMAILS WAS SENT TO ME. You didn't even send me a tax invoice which im legally intilted too, even after i ask Emily to send me one out again.

All Jackie could say, im being rude. Yes Jackie im going to be rude, when i paid for bin and it was collected early without my knowledge. Yes Jackie im going to be rude, when you lie to me and when you're not willing help me nor return my tools.

Do yourself a favour, find another company, dont use SkipBinOnline.

Update: I looked into domain setup and configuration, It turns SkipBinsOnline have not setup the dns and mx records correctly for their domain. All the reports where sent to Jackie and she still refuses to help. Their incompetence cost me. Jackie i didnt bully you, i made it clear that you're at fault and i showed you. You were lost for words. The only thing you're good at is lying Jackie, just like you accused me of lying about not receiving the emails, just like you tried to lie about Emily didnt hang up on me. Most of all just like you how great your rates are. Dont use this $2 company, you will find better prices and geniune companies. If you live in Melbourne, lookup WM WASTE, $50 cheaper amd better service

Very helpful and responsive when I kept making changes to the order. They subcontract the actual bin service, which means they can lean on the provider to collect bins when it's 4 days past scheduled pickup far better than I could as a 1-off customer. Excellent service!

Skip bins online are such a great company to use, at Waddell landscapes we have been using Them for years and they have never let us down. Jacky and Emily in the office are such lovely ladies, they always make sure my bins are on time and picked up when I need them to be. They both go out of there way to make sure I’m happy and the job has been done properly. Jacky is so polite to talk to and makes my job so much easier when dealing with bins. So just want to say a big thank you to skip bins online and Jacky I’ll be the first one to take you out for a nice steak and wine when the pubs re open:)
