Skinkandy Miranda

I was excited to check out SkinKandy to get a new earring for my helix piercing but I left so disappointed with the customer service. I was unsure about the specific gauge I had currently in my ear and I thought the jewellery I was looking at in store seemed a bit thicker. I asked the sales assistant for help and they told me that my current earring was 'problematic' (didn't explain why they thought that/reasons for saying that) and that I should look at a different section then walked off. I understand that I asked for help but there's a certain way you can provide it without being rude or coming off as judgemental or condescending. The current hoop earring I have in my helix has never caused irritation or caused the piercing to close up - I have had it for over eight years now after initially having a flat back. After this experience, I wanted to immediately leave, I quickly picked a new earring, paid and left.

Came in twice for a rook, helix and most recently the conch. I was pierced the first time by Bek and the second time by Tree, both were professional and warm towards me, knew what they were talking about and made the experience really quick and easy. Cheers guys

Had a great experience, I dropped in to ask some questions and see when there was availability which was same day. Very knowledgeable, very clean place, so happy with the service. Will take my daughter there for her first ear piercings.

Had a very good experience today. Tree did my nose and was very helpful and talked me through the process he also made sure I was feeling okay before and afterwards. 5/5 stars.

I came to skin candy with my friend, she was going to get her belly pierced.they had a look at her belly to see if it was ok to pierce.she lifted her school uniform (dress) and he told her she had to take the whole thing off when cleary she didnt need too.then turned to my other mate and said " are u just gonna stand there" (talking about helping her take the dress off) she ended up taking her whole dress off and he said he couldn't pierce it, this GROWN man with hickeys and greasy pink hair is a disgrace to this company to make a minor fell uncomfortable.she went somewhere else and they periced it straight away.only come here if u wanna take all ur clothes off for a greasy man

I went in apprehensive to get my first piercing and was anxious, as I had no inkling what to expect.
Allysia is a wonder women!
She was so calm and patient in answering all my concerns and eased me into the process. The entire nose piercing was done in 10 mins and Allysia is adept, experienced, kind and deserves all the praise as apparent in all her previous reviews.

Nose piercing on 5th June 2023.

I was with my 6 years old daughter to do her ear piercing lobe area. I was bit confuse if she got hurt. The customer service at Skin Kandy at Miranda store was so helpful and hygiene and my daughter was so happy after their service. They made her so comfortable and done so easily without any pain. Thanks for the team.

Allysia was awesome, answered all by dumb questions and handled my 1st (2nd and 3rd) piercings like a professional. I'll definitely be back.

There was a bit of an issue with the website's booking system and I somehow made an appointment for the wrong day. Thankfully, the staff at this location were extremely accommodating and were able to fit me in between other appointments as a walk-in after hearing the situation. The piercing room was very tidy and private, and there were small cards in the shop to help identify each of the piercers on staff, which I found a nice touch.

For the actual piercings:
I had third lobe piercings done by Tree, who was very friendly and professional. They were very careful to measure and check placement for the piercings, and listened to my plans for what I want to add in the future. As a result, they adjusted the positioning of the new piercings to make sure those plans would work out well when I'm able to come back. The entire process was quick and comfortable, and Tree was careful to explain each step before moving forward.

I recently had the pleasure of being pierced by Bek, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and reassured by Bek's warm demeanor and professionalism. They took the time to carefully explain the process and offered valuable advice, which helped me make an informed decision about my piercing.

Bek's comforting nature, coupled with their exceptional expertise, made the entire experience as smooth and painless as possible. Their commitment to maintaining a clean and sterile environment truly put my mind at ease, and I felt that my well-being was their top priority throughout.

I cannot recommend Bek highly enough to anyone looking for a skilled, professional, and reassuring piercer. Don't hesitate to pay them a visit – you won't be disappointed!

Both times getting pierced at skinkandy was a beautiful experience! The girls are really really nice and so helpful and I always trust them about what looks good and what works with my ear anatomy. Love Alisa and Annie they where my piercers both times and I could not recommend them enough!

I have had many piercings at Miranda for both my daughter and I and have spent lots of money there. They were great. Yesterday I went in and wanted a sleeper for my helix. I asked the lady for the best size and made sure with her it would fit the way I wanted it to. It was a gold hoop so I paid over $130 for it. I asked her to change it over for me. It was too small. I was then advised I had to spend another $100 to get a bigger one that would fit. So disappointed considered I am a loyal customer. I now have a hoop that doesn’t fit and I need to go out and buy another one. Not great service this time around for something so simple, she ensured me it would fit

I had an amazing experience after getting 4 piercings by the lovely Allysia. She made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process, she made me feel safe and welcome and did an amazing job!

Was shook to find out it cost me $137 for a 6 year old to get ears pierced. Than after I paid this amount, was then told I need to come back in 8 weeks to down size the earring which involves a further cost.
Wish I was told before the piercing about the aftercare. Team member told us after the fact that no swimming for 3 months. How can a 6yr old not go swimming for 3 months in summer?
Very expensive for a simple piercing

Had an industrial done on my left ear by Allysia and she was amazing, very clear with instructions on how to look after it and definitely made the whole piercing process easier for me. I'll absolutely be back here for more piercings!

I've had two other piercings recently, both done by Annie, she is a very good piercer and did both very quickly but efficiently and provided clear instructions on how to take care of the piercings and what to avoid eating in terms of my new tongue piercing.

I had a rook piercing by Annie just before Christmas. I originally wanted a Daith but she advised against it due to my ear shape. She was very professional, clean, quick and so nice. I would recommend this business to anyone wanting a piercing.

Annie pierced my Webb, she was so amazing! Constantly checking if I was okay! Highly recommend her for you next piercing x

It's been just under two weeks since I was pieced by the amazing Annie at Skinkandy and my piercing is healing really really well. She made me feel comfortable and less nervous about the type of piercing I got and I couldn't be happier.

Also she has amazing taste in music too, I can't ait to come back and get future pieficngs from her!

Annie did my high nostrils and redid a nostril that was previously done unevenly.she was lovely and precise, took time and was reassuring.the man at the front was also lovely and helpful.positive experience and i am very happy with it.
