I got my first tattoo at skin deep a few years back, great customer service (the desk guy brought me coffee and some food), great artists, and a good vibe, good shop banter and very funny people to be around. Makes life easier while getting tattooed

Rudest customer service ever. I came in for a tattoo consult and the man at the desk was just immediately so disinterested, rude and condescending. It almost felt like he was scoffing at the tattoo I wanted to get right to my face, and he looked disgusted that he even had to conversate with me. (I can assure you that the tattoo I wanted to get was completely normal and not obnoxious, and same with my personality) I’ve worked in customer service for over 5 years now and just cannot imagine ever treating a customer so rudely. Furthermore, as I was only doing a consult, they tried to give me a price estimate and said 450-500 dollars which was literally laughable for the size and detailing of the tattoo I was getting. I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from you guys before which have been bigger and more detailed than the one I asked for this time, and were much cheaper? It was very strange. I decided not even to put down a deposit and left very disappointed as it was a complete rip off and the way I was spoken to so rudely had me so taken aback. It was a shame because I really liked the work you guys did on my last two tattoos and the girl that did them was really nice and did a great job. Unfortunate that some employees just have to be so rude and ruin business for everyone else: (

I’ve been here a few times and seen them tattoo my friends and also gotten a tattoo myself.
I’ve seen all the artists work and they are all amazing.
Tyson tattooed me and I was confident with the amount of care and cleanliness in preparation and during the tattoo, he was fast and neat and wasn’t too painful, even though it was on my finger. He was happy to go with my own design and also communicated well before, throughout and after and with explaining to me that finger tattoos usually drop out (which I know as a pretty heavily tattooed person). I explained that this was fine as this is what I wanted and he was happy to go through with it since I understood and we discussed some ways to prevent too much fallout.
The shop is also great, clean, has an amazing vibe and everyone is lovely, polite, friendly and really know how to make you feel comfortable.
I can’t wait to go back! Thanks guys for an amazing experience:)

I've gotten two tattoos here, by Dean and OB. Dean was so nice and really careful with the tattoo which turned out perfectly! With the tattoo by OB I was a little nervous and admittedly a bit difficult with communicating my idea and he was so friendly and ended up developing and perfecting the idea I had and gave me a really amazing full colour tattoo. I'm super happy with both tattoos and the vibe at Skin Deep. All of the artists are super friendly and not intimidating, plus they do amazing work! Highly recommend!
