Skilltech (A Spotless Company) reviews
24Don't bother believe me. They will be nice for the first 2 weeks then treat you like a
Say goodbye to your contract I see another company in your area hiring for the same positions looks like energy Australia finally woke up
Me and my grandmother had the pleasure meeting A Electrical Meter Reader man named Charlie if I remembered correctly just before new years eve. Very helpful & knowledgeable.
Dealt with the rudest employee from this company today. Gave me the finger as I was pulling my van into my own driveway as he mouthed swear words whilst driving by.
We had a move in meter read by this mob and was incorrect, got a bill for over $1100 for 3 weeks electric, contacted them by email twice for conformation of meter reads taken, but no contact received and no number to ring, not happy
I have PTSD after working for this company. Although it may not have been skilltechs fault directly I now have PTSD from reading electricity Meters from abuse from the public accusing me directly for their faulty bill as it could have been any of the 500 workers. Please this needs to be fixed with proper training how to deal with abusive customers. I haven't worked in 18 months
With employees like “Sid” as he called himself, I can just imagine that this company is just as trashy and disgusting as him. Would give less than 1 star if I could
We had our water meter changed today in Balgowhah Heights by a very charming man with a very refreshing attitude his name is Chris. He was helpfull and had a nice way about him.
He explained that the old meter was out of date, and needed changing. With technical guy's like Chis he is an asset to the Company. I'm sure he would succeed in any type of works.
Well done Chris
I cant give less than one start. I dont know how they become contractor of Sydney water. They came to install recycled water meter but left with lots of water leakage and messing around. I really dont know how can they just leave the work saying its done with lots of leakage in the meter connection. I do t recommend at all. Sydney water must rethink the quality of service of contractors while selecting.
Worked for skilltech for a year. They give you faulty equipment to work with, the management is disgraceful. My electrical testing equipment was so broken, that a lot of my jobs I didn't use my plumguard. When I go to replace it, they give me a new lead wire that is also broken. Nobody in management cares about their employees or clients. They havn't a clue what is going on. I'm surprised they havn't lost their Sydney Water contract.
I had a very odd experience today when a fellow arrived out of the blue to cut off my gas supply due presumably to the fact I do not use gas. He came unannounced, did not introduce himself then proceeded to fiddle around for half an hour. In retrospect I should not have allowed him on the premises and would have been within my rights to request forewarning. No breach of law but a rude, ignorant modus operandi.
Working for these guys is a nightmare. The equipment they give you is faulty. Don't try and call support. They are not supportive. No wonder its a high turnover job. This is one of the jobs, that are worst than the dole.
Skill tech were sent out to replace my meter. I got a letter saying they couldn’t find it. It is a new build and meter stands outs like, it is unobstructed and in clear line of site from the driveway. I was also home all day on the day they allegedly attended and couldn’t locate the meter. I then had to wait on hold for 28mins to reschedule another visit. Not sure how they have a Sydney water contract.
Thoughtless and dangerous workers/ drivers
in shared zones. If this is how you treat locals id hate to see how you work
Do not trust this company. Rude management, unprofessional, no customer services, poor communication. Not even worth one star! Not too sure how they can be the authorized contractor for Waterfix at Sydney Water. The work has been subcontracted and subcontracted and subcontracted again. Multiple-level contracting! There are different email domain names/business names they are using. Be aware!
The guy sent to replace the water meter could not be bothered changing it as he had to lift a couple of small outdoor pavers to do so. What BS
A very poorly run company, who treat there employees terribly and have no Idea what it's like being on the other end of there bad management and organising on a regular basis.

One of your employees driving a company car (rego CM66YA) almost drove us off the road. He was driving also driving right in the middle of a 2 lane road like an idiot. Not a good look for your company.
Meter Read Staff are absolutely terrible they have no respect for private property, leave gates open after opening them to enter property and think my drive is a friggin speedway.
