fantastic and professional I would recommend Skillnet to all.
Top course provider.
I just finished my security course at skillnet, JC was an amazing teacher, helped me and other students understand what was required and helped us out if we needed any help, i would definitely recommend this to future students.
I studied the security course here and it was a good experience, SkillNet Australia allowed me to experience and learn about the situations and procedures of a security officer
I am student of their security guard course. The environment was friendly and i enjoyed every bit. The way of teaching was spot on.
Just a little glitch at the help desk mails, apart that studying there for short courses was a good decision.
I have done ECEC cert 3. I would love to do diploma as well. I love and enjoy the way my instructor teaches me. ️️
Amazing experience, the training is professional and gives you a deep understanding on how to become a successful security guard
Jessie is an excellent trainer. He was very knowledgeable, charismatic and high energy. The thirteen days of class passed by very quickly. Very highly recommend Skillnet!
Jessie Khubbar is a wonderful person and a great trainer. I learnt a lot from Jessie and all Skillnet management was very helpful including their Admin staff.
I will highly recommend this institute to everyone to Start your security training with.
I did not write a review when I finished the course back in 2017 (almost five years ago), but I want to write a review now to reflect on my years working as a security officer and the impact of the trainer.
Over the past five years I gained a lot of skills when performing my shifts as a security officer. From rover patrol techniques, note book and incident report writing etiquette, handling medical emergencies, isolation, permits, control room basics and the list can go on.
There are two types of security officers.
The first type of security officer goes to their shift to chill around, make political friends with the managers and only worry about their self interest. Not about helping their colleagues, or improving their skills further, don't follow the rules, or respect every minute of their time in the shift. They will go up the ranks, but with little beneficial impact for their colleagues for they have heaps of turnovers and make the simple tasks too difficult. All because they did not do their homework on how to do the job properly. It is this type of security officer which has made me blacklisted from quite a few companies. It is this type of security officer that perform the opposite of what the trainer at SkillNet Australia has taught us.
We then have the second type of security officer. The ones that struggle first at the site which they are working in, and are no good at playing dirty politics. Yet it is these officers who respect their time in the shift, follow the rules, find ways to improve their skills even further via feedback and reflection, help their colleagues to improve the efficiency of the team, remain at their post and respond to every situation brought out to them the best way possible. These security officer are the true professionals that play it smart, ethical and can make the hardest tasks easy to accomplish through hard work, perseverance, honesty and excellent communication. That source of great communication is from knowing yours people, places and procedures at the job site. These security officers follow the training given taught to them by SkillNet Australia.
It takes a great professional to train the foundations of the second type of security officer. Jessie is a prime example of the best trainer any student can be taught under. It is his professional approach that gave the likes of my self to be the best professional possible in the security industry. His strong sense of discipline, knowledge, experience, character, sharp mind and wisdom can inspire many to strive at very high levels of service.
The greatest thing Jessie taught me was to respect the time given to you. When you are given text to read for the lesson next week, use your time during the week and read the text to be prepared for next class. At the same time. When you work your rostered shifts, respect the time of yours shift by learning as much as you can about the site you are working in. It is this simple action that can make a security officer perform the best way possible.
Jessie is a treasure of a trainer, and I wish more trainers follow his excellent example on how to train students. You will rarely find a true professional like Jessie.
I wish him all the best and my utmost respect.

I did my security course here. Great trainer, help me learn to be the best in the security industry
I feel obliged to say a few words about Skillnet because it has given me a new purpose and also shown me the way to achieve it. Learning at Skillnet was fun and enlightening at the same time. I have learned how to care for a child as a professional, and I have the confidence to deal with children and make sure that they get the best care.
I can't conclude without mentioning Tina, without whom I neither would have achieved this confidence nor would have cared to give this feedback. She was just awesome!
Great Learning experience, Jessie the instructor is a fantastic teacher, who will help you pass your course.
This is my first experience in Australia doing a Diploma course. Initially I was bit shy and confuse myself and thought how can I complete the course?
But the instructor and office staff were extremely passionate and helpful, they help me a lot to finish my course. Encourage me when I get stuck. Guided me to complete my units.
After completed the course I got job in my field. I would definitely recommend this centre to my co-workers and friends circle.
Thanks.
