BEWARE! Extract from NCAT (Tribunal) : “The Tribunal is satisfied that the (expert) report prepared by the Respondent (Mr Steven Nakhla, SJN Building Consultants) was SUFFICIENTLY INACCURATE and NOT PREPARED with the requisite CARE, SKILL and DILIGENCE. ”. Mr Nakhla did not apply the relevant Australian, Industry and Manufacturer's Standards to the defective issue (concrete reseal) he examined. Mr Nakhla was negligent and incompetent, and displayed unethical behaviour. His reported opinions were based on false, inaccurate and misleading assessments. My many attempts (emails/phone calls) with Mr Nakhla/office/team to correct his factually incorrect report were ignored and dismissed. There was no transparency or recognition by Mr Nakhla that his report was inaccurate and misleading. Mr Nakhla demonstrated his lack of professionalism and purported building expertise for a simple concrete reseal. Mr Nakhla did not submit a defence or attend the NCAT hearing. Thanks to Mr Nakhla, I have a useless report which took an extraordinary 28 DAYS to complete with a concrete reseal defect for which I have no recourse for remediation.

I just purchased an apartment and needed to arrange a Pre-Inspection. I spoke to Frances who was very professional, assisted me with my enquiry and my inspection was booked and carried out within a few days. Extremely happy with the service from start to finish. Would highly recommend.
