SJJA Dulwich Hill

I stayed 2 weeks at SJJA Dulwich Hill with my good friend Ramon. The Jiu jitsu here is high level. The academy is beautiful and clean with a family atmosphere making everybody feel very welcome.

SJJA Dulwich hill is an extremely friendly and welcoming environment. To anybody looking to practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu or improve upon themselves in their personal goals as well as general well-being, here is a great start.

High level of professionalism and respect. Family environment. My daughter enjoys and looks forward to her weekly classes.

My daughter has recently started here and as a single child has grown so much already in just a few weeks. The Instructors are amazing and it shows as most families are engaged with their children here not just dump and run or heads in phones. I look forward to a very long relationship and becoming part of the SJJA family.

“Jiu Jitsu will change your life” is a sincere belief of Professor Ramon. He is super invested in coaching us all towards this very outcome. BJJ is hard work but incredibly rewarding, and SJJA Dully is a great place to learn and grow!

My kid started here a few months ago and loves it! The kids always have a great time and learn new movements. Instructors are so great with the new starters, making sure they know what to do and are included. Highly recommend.

SJJA and Professor Ramon have created a nurturing environment for our children. The classes are always engaging and the children have learnt many different skills in our time here.

I have 2 boys who go here one 9yr old & one 12yr old. Both boys love coming here and professor Ramon is nothing short of amazing! He cares about these kids so much and has time for every one of them! I cannot recommend SJJA Dulwich Hill enough, it’s not just the physical training but the mental and emotional aspect as well. If you’re considering a place for your kids and you live close by you should definitely come and check it out.

I signed my 12-year-old daughter up to SJJA Dulwich Hill last year and she has absolutely thrived under the guidance of Romano and his team.
She looks forward to her class each week and is going to be adding an extra class through the week as she loves it so much. She has developed such confidence and strength since starting. Romano and his team are amazing and take the time to get to know the kids and cater to their needs so they can get the most of out of each and every session. I cannot recommend it enough.

SJJA Dulwich Hill is a fantastic Jiu-Jitsu school with an awesome group of training partners and instructors.
Whether it is your first time attending, or you are a seasoned practitioner, our head instructor Professor Ramon makes an enormous effort teaching everyone who attends the fundamentals of jiu jitsu.
The club has grown substantially in the last 2 years, which is a testament to the coaches and to the club as a whole, with an incredibly welcoming, friendly group of people.
If you are considering signing up for jiu jitsu classes in the Inner West, this is definitely a club that will exceed your expectations!

Highly recommend this school. Very welcoming and compassionate teachers. The school really encourages positive attitude and it helps build up my daughter's confidence. Not only that, she has learned skills and techniques that can be used to protect herself in real life. She always look forward to her jj classes and I can see that she has physically grown stronger too since the first time she started learning jj last year. Thank you prof Ramon and team!

The young lad loves going every week. The Proff does an amazing job engaging the kids. It has been great to watch classes grow and is a testament to the staff. Adult classes are excellent too!

Our girls (9 & 6) have been going here since April 2021. They love it! Even if we moved places, they still prefer this centre. The professors (Ramon and previous ones) are great with kids. Each session is both fun and challenging. We saw our girls come out of their shy shell into confident little human beings! As parents, we love the session times too! We don’t have to book or commit to fixed days, we can go any day! Highly recommended!
