Sinofield Edu-Retreat

Not far off Leura road but very secluded and quiet (need car, not near train station). Rooms are a bit weird on first entry, with two separate rooms, one of which seems redundant with only small fridge, tea making and a coat rack in the spartan room, but does give you room to spread out i guess. Actual bedroom is comfy with wall TV. Twin air conditioner/inverters and heated bathroom floors are welcome in winter. Bathroom is clean and modern. Bed & pillows were comfortable we found despite some negative reviews. Basically, the rooms match the price for Blue Mtns, ie very good. However, it is the staff who put this up rating-wise. Super helpful, findable and friendly front desk, going out of their way to solve any issues.

I had a good time staying over here. It is quite peaceful and very close to the echo point lookout and businesses in leura and katoomba. The receptionist guy was very helpful and they also cleaned my room which was great.

Delicious food, beautiful quiet scenery, friendly staff, love the clean n comfy family rooms with top bunk beds, heated bathroom floor a plus, 5 mins drive town, an excellent blue mountain stay!

I highly recommend you visit and stay at this wonderful retreat. The accommodation is amazing and very clean.the staff are helpful and friendly.if you want a peaceful and relaxing break don't hesitate to stay at this beautiful place. This place is quiet and very close to Leura, 5mins drive. Tall trees right outside my own little yard, its just what you need when you need a break. Its beautiful to sit out and just enjoy nature. The room is small but omg its soooo clean.particularly the bathroom which is new. The beds are comfy, including the pillows and the decor is quite modern and simple with an oriental touch. The reception guy is super helpful, attentive and friendly. It will be good if all the activities listed on the website are more promoted and available. I will surely come back!

Really lovely place, quiet and clean. Not crowded which is a bonus during the pandemic period.

Stuff didn’t talk to much yet very helpful, brought me an adapter that really saved my second day.

We also enjoyed the night stars on the turf in the yard. Peaceful.

My two favourite words when looking for a place to stay: clean and comfortable, and this was both. Appears quite recently refurbished and underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely addition. Bed was firm but comfortable and my husband and I enjoyed our two night stay - secluded, quiet, and away from the bustle. Would stay here again. While this didn't bother us too much, if you are very sensitive to lights in the room while sleeping this may not be for you - there are yellow lights in the roof as part of the smoke and fire alarm system that cannot be covered up (they are part of the sensor). We love this place, it’s very nice and clean. Lee was so helpful and kind. We all had a good time although it was raining during our whole trip. We are so lucky to find this place.

Sinofield Edu-Retreat exceeded my every expectation. It is the epitome of fusion between culture and recreation. My young family had a truly enjoyable stay in their newly renovated extremely cleanly rooms. The retreat offers many amenities from heated bathroom floors in the rooms, to guest areas with facilities such as, a children’s playground, covered Ping pong table area, full size basketball court, footy field, Koi fish pond, tea ceremony room (also good for playing Chinese chess) and meditation room. The value proposition for guest at this price point is unmatched in the region. Owner/operators Feng and Li are exceptional host and embody a customer centric philosophy.

Great place. Friendly, professional staff whom were very accommodating. It was a very informative cultural experience. I want to give a special mention to a lovely gentleman by the name of Shengli. He is an asset to the retreat.

Friendly, clean, well-located and spacious! We only spent a couple of nights, but were quite impressed with the retreat.

Everything was very good. Friendly staff, excellent service, spacious rooms at the price point.
