Single O Surry Hills

The coffee and food are really delicious.
However, for Asians, plates and cups are put away quickly.
It wasn't a time when there were people waiting or anything, and even though it wasn't a busy time, there was one blonde female employee who was pushing the Asian table.
I may be misunderstanding. I don't think this cafe discriminates against Asians, as there were many different races among the staff.

I had really delicious coffee~~!
Banana bread is also really delicious.
It was the best food I had in Sydney.
I plan to visit one more time before returning to Korea.

Watch out they are discriminating against single men
As I was single they pushed you to the bar while other single women take up tables
As I talked to Korean lady at the bar next to me they kept introducing rudely interrupting conversation asking lady to go sit somewhere else, after she refused the same lady called a Korean customer to come tell her her friend was waiting

Thinking I was harassing the lovely lady who already assured them I feel like these people are a bunch of people who discriminate against anyone non white and male I will go to the police and report them
Never go there by yourself or you’ll be treated with such poor device the worst in my life

I came here last week on Thursday and the staff were super friendly and helpful, and willing to take time aside to answer my questions even though it was pretty busy.

Also one of the only places to sell good quality parachutes which is pretty sick, yewww

Great service from the friendly staff. Love the ambience of this cafe. Perfect spot for brunch. Delicious coffee to pair with the tasty food. Interesting menu!

I went to Single O in Surry Hills wanting to buy some coffee for home as it's that good. Unfortunately they didn't have all the coffee blends I was after however the barrister who served me was so sweet and accommodating. She suggested a great coffee blend suitable to my machine and drinking style. To top it off I got a free coffee to go! I think that's fab especially when your buying alot of coffee.

Great vegan menu and delicious coffee! Went for breakfast and ordered the Miso Eggplant roll with kimchi and a coffee. The vegan range has Asian inspired flavours and everything looked great, so it was hard to chose just one dish. I'll be back to try the other options soon. Absolutely great vibe with cool music and lovely staff, all tucked away in corner at Surry Hills.

Had our takeaway hot drinks taken by another patron. The staff were apologetic and remade our drinks for us straight away.
Great service, great coffee, and great food.

One of the only cafe with a plant based focus menu. Although the view is fun on the counter seat, it is almost impossible to get the attention from the servers. The croissant was mostly doughy with only one crispy edge. The blistered cauliflower was tasty but was cold so not the best for a cold day. The bread was quite tough to cut through. The okonomiyaki had a giant serving of pickled ginger. Very spicy. The plant based bacon was like a crispy salty cracker. The coffee on tap looked quite cool and you could use a cup to fill instead of the to go paper ones if you were drinking on site.

Unfortunately, the food was disappointed. The duck is just like something bought from an Asian restaurant but served in the wrong way. The duck and salad were cobbled together rashly though I waited for a long time for this recommended dish. I also had the Eggplant Roll that was less flavor. Maybe because the duck is too sweet. Ps: the deep-fried oil seems not fresh.

The coffee tastes light. If you are used to strong coffee, try a double shot or don’t go. However, the barista is excellent and has a very good understanding of coffee. The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful.

It is not worth going there particularly for the coffee or the food (like me) though they were listed as one of the best cafes in Sydney. However, if you occasionally pass by, you should give it a try. But, just don’t order anything with duck lol

Coffee was very well made. Probably not my favourite tasting coffee. Was more oaty, nutty whereas I prefer the dark cherry, chocolate. Still very good though

Fo' shizzle this place rocks! It rocks with or without socks! Anyway, fun jokes aside.it's great coffee amazing food, awesome staff and everything in between. Love it. Try their oat slushy.drool.oh and please have the Bacon and Egg roll.please.it'll be the best thing you'll have.

I had their Long black single origin which was very nice and smooth.
Unfortunately, my partner got the wrong thing, he ordered ice coffee but he got soy latte instead.

Easily one of my top 5 cafes in Sydney. Menu is simple but every item is freaking delicious, cannot go wrong with any choice. Coffee is unbelievably good.

My boyfriend is a big coffee fan and so I didn't know what to expect coming here. But what I got, oh my it was amazing. Iced chocolate with a scoop of gelato.

I would go to Sydney again just to have their coffee. They're so creative with how to have coffee. Had both the "on tap" kind and the slushie, both delicious!

The coffee at Single O is simply the best in Sydney. There’s also a great, buzzing energy in this cafe! The food was wonderful and the staff was energetic and friendly. Expect a wait on the weekends, but you can grab a coffee and enjoy the environment around. It’s a great time!

Can't go wrong with Single O. I love their Killer Bee beans for cold brew and you know you'll have a solid brunch wherever you eat here.

Just had at least 5 people who ordered after me get their coffees first and when I went to follow up, staff were dismissive as if I was being impatient. Normally service is good but today was a really disappointing experience.

Went to shop today, was recommended trying out Killer Bee for milk based espresso. Tried at home, liked the taste, will come back as regular! (I am actually switching from well known Marrickville based roaster since they are inconsistent lately imo).
