Silver Spoon Thai Restaurant reviews
71Thought we may have had to take-away due to having dog, but they were able to accommodate and gave us some very nice outdoor seating! Great food:)
After eating Thai food at multiple resteraunts across the country this is probably some of the best that I've ever eaten. Tom Kha Gai, Satay chicken, crispy fish with ginger sauce, stir fried beef, pad thai- everything was awesome. Went back a second time during our short visit to Nowra.
This panang curry was definitely not good! Me and my daughter got bad tummy issues after eating it, diarrhoea!
I'm sorry but this is unacceptable to sell old food! Will request my money back! And will never visit again.
I like Thai people but please work on your English specially of you are in the restaurant business!
Excellent little restaurant in a gorgeous old township building.
Beautiful food and great service
BYO was the cherry on the cake for us.we'll be back!
Absolutely terrible. Ordered 2 takeaway main courses and an entree of salt & pepper squid. Made a big point at order that none of it was to contain chilli as I’m allergic to it. Main courses were fine but the entree had so much chilli in it it nearly killed me. Very very very bad experience
Has a separate vegan menu.
Food was bland and not very authentic to proper Thai food. Food came quickly and service was good. $10 for a single bottle of corona feels very overpriced but the mains were about $18-23
This is the second time our booking was mixed up! Could and would not accommodate us.
Went down the road to Elephant thai cafe.wonderful service.good food. Highly recommend.
Great restaurant - very friendly staff, very good food, atmosphere and fast service.
Very reasonable prices too.
Not only I will go back again but I already started to recommend the restaurant to friends.
Gérard DECOTTIGNIES.
They forgot to put chicken in the chicken curry and the takeaway containers were half full. Not good value for money.
We dined in 30 minutes before they shut. Preordered the food maybe why they were already a bit cold. The serving was good although I expected a fresh juice but served one in a can. We ended up having takeaways of the plum sauced duck, the only dish we found tasty and quite a standout.
Not bad but not great either. Mixed Entree's not a hit at all. Terrible really. Crispy pork, well there was nothing crispy about it at all. If anything it was soggy. Sorry but your only getting 1 star from us.
Should be better for what you pay. $$$
Good food and the restaurant has a cute little courtyard area that is outdoors. The owner was friendly and foreshadowed that there may be a delay in the food due to staff shortages, however the food came out within a normal timeframe which was a nice surprise!
Amazing food, great service. One of the most visit eateries enroute through nowra.
Tried 3 dishes each were perfect, loved the tamarind prawns
I cannot speak anymore highly of the Thai food from Silver spoon restaurant in Nowra. We had the Penang Prawn Curry and Sweet and Sour Pork which were both amazing, so much flavour and great quality food. Will definitely be going back again and again.
Food was ok but service was terrible. We ordered at 19: 15 but the first dish came at 8pm. We asked the manager why the other table came and ordered after us but got the dishes quicker (they almost finished when I asked), the manager said it was depending on what you ordered. OK we ordered Green curry chicken and panang curry prawn - aren't they most common Thai foods? We then ordered extra stream rice at 20: 15 and waited another 20 minutes as they needed to cook rice.
We went for Mother's Day lunch. The food was delicious and good size serving. The staff very efficient and friendly.
My main was extremely frilly with vegetables cut precisely the same and very close to raw & cold.
Prawns, well covering in all the crumbing etc, they were very tiny.
Not happy.
One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. Clean, crisp and packed flavours. Excellent service.
Had a nice lunch a month ago, went for lunch today and recieved half serves, food was nice though. Please be consistant with portion sizes
Best Thai in the area, friendly staff. Lunch specials are great value for money. I usually order by phone, then dine in.
My go-tos are the duck/pineapple curry and the stir frys
