Very nice company, has helped us in various ways recently tax return was done. Very friendly staff, and professional as well. Wagdi Ann, and all staff are so helpful. Have been knowing the this company for more then 2 years will not hesitate to recommend to my my friend and family as well.

UPDATE 24 OCT 23 - despite repeated requests in writing by my company for a correct invoice for the remaining Xero fees of $580.80 so I can pay (not back dated), Wagdi Andrawis is refusing to send one. He is also refusing to lodge my fully paid for (at a cost of $2241.60) company statement for FY23. The latest email from Wagdi / SP stated that unless I take down this review and sign some "agreement" agreeing to not review his company in future he will a) not send me a correct invoice to pay (? !) and b) not lodge my fy23 company statement which is a requirement of the service agreement I have already paid for in full. I will not be bullied by Wagdi into taking down my review. He has now resorted to further bullying tactics which I assume are in order to intimidate me into agreeing to his demands by harassing my company on social media with false and defamatory statements.

My recent dealings with Wagdi Andrawis as a paying client of Silver Peacock (SP) and a small business owner over the last 3 days have been terrible. I have been a client of SP for approximately 3 years and had been extremely happy with the service provided by both Dev and Norika during that time. On 9/10/23 Wagdi sent me an invoice for approximately $1400 for Xero fees back dated to FY21 with a due date of the same day without any forewarning or explanation. I called him to discuss this and he refused to answer a) how the fees came suddenly to light or b) why SP had failed to invoice me for them annually as per our paid service agreement and instead just repeatedly told me it was accurate and to check the fine print. When I pushed for an answer he then aggressively said I may no longer speak with him and that all future correspondence between us must be in writing and HUNG UP!? ! I then ran a check on my past years payments and found I had already been invoiced for and paid SP at least 30% of the invoice Wagdi insisted I still owed. Wagdi was reluctant to check this at his end when I asked him to and instead said ". Pleass provide evidence of the charges you allege you paid for already" (sic) and he would ammend the invoice. Ultimately it turned out I only owed $580.80, the Xero fees for FY23 and 4 months of FY24 due to the fact that I had not yet been invoiced for these fees. When the revised invoice was sent by Wagdi with this amount no explanation or acknowledgment of why I had been incorrectly charged in the first place was given. If I had not questioned Wagdi and stood my ground I would be down approximately $800 of unwarranted charges in an economy that is incredibly difficult for small businesses and would have had a huge impact on my business. Wagdis Andrawis's written correspondence over this matter included attacks on my character when he referenced my emails as". Evidently ignorant and extended commentary" and that I was arrogant or acting arrogantly for not accepting the incorrect invoice he wanted paid or the same day payment terms. At one stage he even went as far as saying "good ridden" (sic) when I agreed with his suggestion I should find a new accountant for FY24, but stipulated I required a corrected invoice to pay first and my already paid for FY23 reporting. Thankfully I'm not ignorant of my rights to question charges or to receive services already paid for and agreed to. Whilst I have already paid a approximately a third of my annual fee for FY24 ($186.80 per month) I have not asked to be refunded for this. Ultimately I am posting this review as I am very concerned that I may not be the only person this has happened to.

I applied for a position in this company and WAGDI ANDREWES emailed me an invitation for a job interview to the office during the lockdown. I replied that I can do Zoom or Teams. He replied that it is not an option. It was not a position of my dream, it was something while I am between jobs, so I did not reply to one of his emails. Then, we called me on the 27/02/2022 on SUNDAY! And started asking the questions regarding my experience. I reminded him that I did not reply to his last email that should have indicated him that I am not interested, and I also pointed out that it is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL to call people on SUNDAYS regarding jobs they are not interested in and I hang up on him. After that he send me this SMS: . I WILL MAKE SURE YOUR NAME GOES AROUND TO ALL THE ACCOUNTING FIRMS AROUND SYDNEY THAT I KNOW TO BE CAREFUL! NO ONE WANTS TO EMPLOY SOMEONE ARROGANT. I left his grammar without editing. I wish all the best to all ppl who works with this "professional". I think WAGDI need to review Code of Ethics for Accounting Professionals - APES 110 for a reference, PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR PRINCIPLE in particular.
